Excellent new expansion and refinement of Top Hat/XCSoar
Top Hat has been my all-time favorite gliding flight computer app. However, development of Top Hat essentially ended around 2019 so it is nearing the end of its life as operating systems change. Thankfully, Top Hat has been reborn as Kigo Nav. Kigo improves on the great user friendliness of Top Hat. The interface is even easier and more efficient than Top Hat. There are new features as well such as info boxes with configurable dynamic color to improve situational awareness such as above/below final glide height. Kigo Nav accepts standard waypoint, airspace, and map files. A map generator is also available on the Kigo Nav website.
