Not filled and boring
Kik used to be decent for meeting friends and just chilling but now the app is just filled with of bots and livestreams of freaks there’s no way to meet new people and I promise everyone texting you is a bot it’s so lame. oh and it’s filled with ads

Freezing
The only problem I have with this app it freezes constantly and doesn’t let you text or do anything. You have to force close it then open it again.
App stuck
Ever since the update the app just loads and freezes. Nothing else works. Fix this.

Latest update will not allow me to see certain pfp
Just downloaded latest update and it will not allow me to see certain individuals pfp while in group chat. This is very annoying and I hope you can resolve it. Also I preferred the old gif system. Hopefully you can resolve some of these issues
Weird af
App is weird. Will NEVER notify you that you have a message so that’s garbage. The streamers are all fake or from Philippines or somewhere random and sometimes there is nobody even on the screen if you click on a streamer. App is truly horrendous
Change isn’t always good
The new gif keyboard hardly ever loads and also doesn’t have the popular gifs that Tenor had. Also can’t see a lot of pfps. And no, there’s no setting I can find to make it any different.

No matter how many times you block or say someone’s a scam/fraud they continue to to have a profile. This app is definitely bottom tier for messaging apps
Could be a five star app
But the spam messages have gotten so out of hand it’s bringing the app down in a big way. I’ve been using kik for over a decade before it was what it is today and always enjoyed it. Not anymore. The more spam messages I report the more I get. If I report 1 I get 10 in it’s place. Kik you need to get this handled and stop asking us to pay for the app. As an OG I will uninstall the app before I ever pay to use it.

Never updated
It’s years that l use kik, looks like never uodated the function in the app, very difficoult to see if the message it’s sending, delivered, read, l would gave think that would at least uodate a bit, like the colour of the text or other, if you don’t have a good sight you don’t understand a lot, even in the messages, when you sent or recieved (timewise). Please uodate

But the bots are horrendous it’s 2026 please implement AI to get rid of the bots and also update social media tab for streamers specifically add tiktok and telegram would be nice for streamers!!
