Kikay uses an interactive adventure approach with bilingual echo, where words are spoken aloud in English and then Tagalog. This is followed by various games designed to reinforce learning, making it suitable for pre-readers.
The app features a 'Word Book' that collects all learned words, allowing children to replay them anytime. A dedicated 'For Grown-Ups' area shows parents exactly which words each child has mastered.
Kikay offers weekly ($4.99), monthly ($9.99), and yearly ($99.99) subscription plans. These plans unlock all lessons, places, and games for the entire family.
Yes, Kikay works completely offline once downloaded. This makes it an ideal choice for long journeys or areas with limited internet access.
Kikay is designed with child safety in mind, featuring no ads and no tracking of children's data. A parental gate protects all purchases and adult sections.
The app was last updated on September 22, 2026, with version 1.03. Future lesson packs are planned, indicating ongoing development.
Kikay is available on iPhone and iPod devices. It is designed for children aged 4 and above.
