About
KIN by Enti3 is a real-time communication coach designed for autistic and other neurodivergent adults.
KIN provides brief, private audio support during everyday conversations while keeping the user—not the technology—in control.
During an active session, KIN uses natural language processing, conversational context, and AI to recognize moments when support may be useful. A discreet spoken cue is delivered privately through an earbud. The user can use the suggestion, adapt it, or ignore it entirely.
KIN currently supports communication across areas including:
• Timing — pauses, conversational pacing, and run-on speech
• Reciprocity — conversational back-and-forth and appropriate follow-up questions
• Direct answers — responding clearly to the question being asked
• Repetition — recognizing repeated words or ideas
• Relevance — staying with or returning to the current topic
• Clarification — asking for repetition, explanation, or additional time
Built around autonomy
KIN is not designed to replace a person’s voice or dictate what they should say. Its purpose is to provide optional support in the moment while preserving individual communication style, agency, and self-determination.
Our longer-term goal is for KIN to learn each user’s individual communication patterns and preferences so that support becomes more personalized—and less intrusive—over time.
Privacy matters
KIN is designed without continuous storage of raw conversations. The current system processes conversational information needed to provide support but does not retain continuous raw audio or complete conversation transcripts by default.
Human validation matters
AI can identify a possible communication pattern, but that does not make the AI correct. KIN is being developed around human validation, user feedback, and the principle that the individual remains the authority on whether support was useful.
KIN is currently an early-stage communication-support platform. It is not a diagnostic tool, medical treatment, emergency service, or substitute for professional care.
