KinderHB

KinderHB is the start-of-class check for kindergartens, playgroups and small schools. When the children should be in and some aren't, tap their names and the message to the parents is ready: the greeting for the time of day, the time, the names, your school's name. Hand it to WhatsApp, Messages or whichever app you use, pick the parents' group, send. Two taps, and everyone knows. ONE CHILD, ONE PARENT Only one child missing, with a parent's number saved? The message goes to that parent directly instead of the whole group. FOLLOW-UPS Someone arrives after the message went out? Unflag them and say whether they showed up or were excused. For the next half hour KinderHB offers a follow-up: who arrived, who's still missing, or both. SESSIONS School at 8:30, dinner at 11:15, choir practice at 3:00 on Tuesdays. The session the app is in sits at the top of the screen and picks itself by the clock, and each session can have its own wording ("late for choir practice"). SCHOOL BELL Give a session a bell from the Bell Alerts app and KinderHB listens for it. When the bell rings, the app switches to that session and, five minutes later, reminds you who is still not here. Bell Alerts is a separate app; without it, sessions simply go by the clock. LATE LOG Every message is logged: who was late, how often, who was excused. See a week, a month or all time, and share the summary as text or a spreadsheet. TEACHERS IN SYNC Share one sync code and every teacher's phone shows the same list, the same flags, the same bells. Changes appear within moments. The list is encrypted on the phone with the code before it leaves, so without the code nobody can read it, not even us. Sync is optional; the app works fully on one phone. MADE FOR THE ROOM Seven looks from deep Night to bright Snow. Girl and boy icons or colours on the name tags. Names in the order you arrange them, boys first or girls first at a tap, long names welcome. Add your class once, and it's ready every morning. KinderHB doesn't send anything on its own. It prepares the text and hands it to WhatsApp, Messages or any app you choose, where you pick the chat and press send. WhatsApp is optional. No account, no ads, no tracking: your list lives on your phone.
