GREAT UPDATE! Not abandonware!
Thank you dev! I have been using this app for well over a year and I learned a way to deal with the highlight bug (this caused you to rewind in the quote shuffle. kind of a bummer.), BUT I really wanted to be able to delete a specific book! Most wanted feature! Yes! Two big quality-of-life changes! Nicely done!
My quote-life is complete now. The widget works nicely with liquid glass and I haven’t run into any other issues.
To people who don’t have this app, it is a very niche thing it does, but it does it well and the dev doesn’t abuse your privacy in the process. You just download your highlights off your Kindle book and then give them to this app. Ridiculously easy. From there? use your randomized quotes like a magic 8ball or simply enjoy having some literary home-screen flavor. Simple, but oh so satisfying for book nerds.

Simple and free
I was looking for something to show me my own kindle highlights for free vs a paid service like Readwise.
This does it. The widget capability is nice but when you tap on a quote from the widget, it doesn’t take you to that quote. That is frustrating when the quote is longer than the widget allows.

Exactly what I need!
I hope the developer keeps this project. This is exactly what I'm looking for and it works great!
