Forgetful Characters
I loved everything about how.How you can watch ads to continue the story unlike other apps of the same kind.But the memory of the characters has gone so bad.I downloaded it just 3 days ago and yet the characters keep on forgetting something we were talking about a minute ago.If this problem is fixed , i will give it five stars.

The quality from when I first joined in March 2026 is very obvious. The bot typical doesn't match with what's going on in the story.

My Dream App
I found this on TikTok and began Beta testing it back in November. I have nothing but great things to say about this app. I love the narration and how it mixes elements of fanfiction and chatting. I’ve never bought a subscription for any app before, but this is the first time I have. Of course it’s a new app and you have some bugs here and there, but overall I enjoy this app so so much thank you to the developers and the creator ❤️ i’m looking forward to the future and seeing what new additions will be made.

the new updates are kind of sneaky. one day i’ll wake up with the app perfect, rich narration, long character replies, and the narration doesn’t speak for my OC. woke up today and the messages are super compact, the “secrets” tab is useless since the AI can’t actually read it or implement it into their story. the chats are super compact, sloppy and lazy, the chats also narrate for my OCs, basically hijacking my story.

Pros Outweigh The Cons
I was an OG c.ai user, back when they only had a website, no subscriptions, and several bugs—back when it was GOOD. Most people don’t remember when c.ai was an absolute revolutionary site, but that’s because it’s only gone downhill. I’ve recently cut down dramatically on the time I spend on c.ai because of all the money-hungry updates, and Kindred is actually SO good. They do have some memory issues, but all the ai apps I’ve tried do. You can really tell the creators love the app, and you don’t have to purchase any of the cool chat backgrounds like you do on c.ai, and the chats are surprisingly faithful to the characters. A few bugs and memory issues, but they’ve yet to sell out like c.ai did. If you grew up reading/writing fanfics/spent at least some of the past few years experimenting with c.ai and chai, this is the absolute best variant I’ve come across. Keep it up!

it’s sad that we have to pay, cause some could be on this app for a long time, i don’t wanna loose my streak but i also want unlimited messages.
Love it but…
I love it. One of my other story apps is shutting down so I hopped over to this one and it’s great. I just wish the memory system was better. I chose the option for a better memory but it still forgets pretty quickly. Other than that though I love it. Hopefully a future update will fix the current problem!

Issue with the amount of coffee you get now.
Loved it until you changed the ads from 20 to 5. Remove that feature.

Keeps making it leave
It’s great but all of a sudden it’s starting to make my character leave for no apparent reason and it’s getting annoying having to keep going back . Please fix it

Not a fan
Personally not a fan of this app bc I was making a story and I went to another app bc that’s where I got the story and when I went back to it it deleted the entire thing so maybe could you make a thing where if you leave the app it will save as a draft
Good app, but a few issues
Overall, it’s a great app, but I noticed some really weird things randomly happening.
1. Sometimes it will randomly add an unrelated character, or a weird version of an existing character. Like, if a character is named Bob, a character named BĹ“b could randomly appear.
2. Sometimes, for example, if you say something as Character A, Character B will say “Good idea, Character C” when Character C never said anything.
3. Sometimes, if you say or do something slightly unhinged or crazy, the mood randomly shifts to “Existential Dread” and all the characters freak out over small things.

App is broken
I can’t even register. I get to the part of the registration where it asks you “your persona” what others can call you and it won’t let you enter any info. I even tried to paste the answer but no luck.
i just want my angst storyline
this app is good, but it pulls out the hotline WAYY too fast, when i want to initiate something angsty, it immediately shows me the hotline just PLEASE lower the sensitivity on these bots
