Kings
As a new student, I researched and asked all the questions about which Ground School was best, what CFI & school I should use. I’ve watched different schools on YouTube, and read all of their web pages & reviews. Some people said Kings ground was dated and a bit more expensive. I decided to purchase Kings over the others because of their proven history. I’m glad I chose kings. The videos have some humor but are done well, and it makes the learning enjoyable. The videos are not over done and off track, which makes it easier for me to retain the information. I recommend kings to anyone. I passed first time with 97%

King School Ground School
Just like the old school CDs!!! Love the access and ability to review any where. Also helps to download so I can learn when there is no wifi or internet. Great stuff!!!

You can’t see the first page of the lesson but then it shows blank pages.

I really enjoy learning from King Schools. They make it easy to understand. I have been with King products for years.
Helped me get 100% on PAR
I studied the material thoroughly and did many practice tests. Great presentation of materials, and helped me get a perfect score on my written test! Thanks John and Martha, you have created a masterpiece! I’ll definitely keep coming back for refreshers or when I get more ratings.

I had 3 individuals in my life that suggested to me to use King School, and boy were they right!
I was not good in school, and definitely not a good test taker, but I absolutely love how John & Martha teach.
They do not teach down like so many instructors in the fire service do, but rather teach in a way that you can feel that they want you to win!
I also love their little cues to help remember certain things like “if you see all red, you’re dead & if you see all white, you’ll fly all night”
I would recommend this to anyone thinking about getting their PPL

Overall, I find this course very helpful. Where it falls short is this. When I load the files and use them immediately, it works well. However, if I log off or just close the app, the files unload and I then have to reload again the next time I want to see them. That’s a waste of my time and completely unnecessary.

Updates
When app was purchased, it was said that there would be lifetime updates for free. There seem to be a lot of new videos, but they do not come through as an update. Only texts come through as an update. Not new videos
Wasting valuable time
Can’t believe how much time I’m spending going back and forth from a question to a plate or figure then back to the question then back to the figures/plates. Not at all like when I used King for my private. I was really stoked to start my Instrument ground school, now it’s a drudge.

Connectivity
This Mac App is garbage. Constantly stops connecting and won’t download content. Have to shutdown the app multiple times. Totally unreliable and is an extreme distraction. If you’re gonna offer it, fix it. The website version isn’t any better; it times out every 60 seconds. Who’s writing this code? The Sporty’s courses work flawlessly; maybe hire their developers?

From private to instructor King Schools is the best prep!!!
I’m a CFII and I’ve done it all with King Schools. Plus I just passed all 3 of my A&P written tests. You simply can’t beat King Schools.

The Kings have maintained the highest level of quality through the years and seen me through private, instrument, commercial, multi, CFI and now ATP. Yes, I use other products as well, but King Schools remains the foundation for me throughout.
