A good start with a good idea
Edit: I’m removing a star as the site has expired leading me to believe there is something going on with the developers. I hope Apple will refund me.
Update: Thank you for the response. The website that is expired is the site linked in the “contact support” button - believersjourney.org. I was only able to cast using AirPlay and in the AirPlay menu, 360p was the max quality. I requested a refund through Apple when I noticed there was no other way to contact the development team.

We are sorry the casting feature from your phone wasn't working as you had hoped. As stated in the app right next to the video, if you click the gear icon in the video player, you can select a higher playback quality for a better viewing experience. Also, may we ask, what site are you referring to that expired? Nothing has changed on the app--when you contacted Apple for a refund and quit subscribing, perhaps that means you lost access to some of the paid features since you are not a subscriber anymore.

For anyone who reads this, we use the ESV Bible. The English Standard Version (ESV) Bible is primarily known for its "essentially literal" translation philosophy, which prioritizes a word-for-word accuracy that stays as close as possible to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts while maintaining readability in contemporary English.

Hey there! We appreciate you using the trial version to see if this app is for you! We apologize that it didn't work out. As you can imagine, creating movies of the entire Bible involve massive video files and storage. The entire Bible is over 100 hours of watch time. So, yes, these videos do take a couple seconds to load. But when one watches these videos with a solid internet connection, they work just fine. And while we absolutely love the idea of hiring artists to create CGI, we are simply just a husband-and-wife team trying to bless others through the knowledge of God's word. Creating CGI for all 31,000+ individual verses in the Bible would easily take over a decade to complete -- along with a budget that we would by no means be able to afford. So we are using the technology we have access to for a good cause. Many have reached out loving the tool -- saying they have read the Bible more in two months than they have in decades of life as a believer! Another gentleman uses this tool for his autistic son who needs the visuals as an aid. We love those testimonies! Many good things are happening. =) But we are sorry this app isn't for you. We wish you the absolute best in your walk with Jesus Christ as we're all in this together! Be blessed!
