Game lacks balance, support, or any real goal.
BALANCE:
Whether it’s 1 unit or 9,999,999+ units, they will train at the same amount of time if queued together. Same goes for buildings as well, so in theory you could go from having nothing to being stacked after a few hours with the only limiting factor being if you can afford it.
There is no clear end goal for the game, besides building the largest kingdom possible. With the game being all text based, with the exception of pictures, this can get old fast - especially with the newer generations.
SUPPORT:
It appears all the game support falls on the shoulders of a single individual or there is no real support, as support emails go unanswered/ aren’t responded to in a timely manner. Even a simple request couldn’t be answered.
Despite these issues, the game does appear to be quite nice and has a dedicated community. If they could get more team members in their support department, include some better balancing as well as QoL like improving reports - perhaps consider adding something like an end game and/or something to make the game more engaging, and include a tutorial beyond the quests given then the game could kick off far more than its current small community.
There are some bugs as well as the above issues, but understandable if it’s a small team. All in all, the game is ok but has far more potential than simply being left in its current state. I hope to see this game progress well with these suggestions.

Questionable Developer
There was recently a server outage, and to fix this, a rollback was done. However, those who were unable to login for the day during the outage, lost their login streak. Login streaks in this game net you an increasing amount of rewards. The developer restored the streaks for all premium account holders, but not for others. It's fine to have premium members gain more, however it is completely unacceptable to punish only non-premium players for something the service is at fault for. Some players had 4 years of daily logins. 4 years. 4 years lost.

My favorite game for over 15 years.
This is the best game ever. So strategic and I’m depth. I love text based games. But this one keeps me for 15 years now. Great work Paul! Hopefully see you for the next 15 years or longer! Please keep updates coming.

It is not dominated by whales.
There is a good balance between an advantage to long time players and new players.
There is also a good balance between the assist paying people get and a free account.
I play free and got to 40th in 20 days.
Multiple active newbs, can take down a vet.
GAMEPLAY: The game play is smartly attacking at the right time, and in coordination of others. Smartly balancing your offense, defense and resources.
There are no exploitable glitches. There are long time players with better accounts that make it hard to rise, as should be the case.
There seems to be one angry person leaving tons of angry comments. This game is highly competitive you literally steal the main resource ‘land’ from other active players. Only way to get it is to grab it, make people extremely butt hurt.
It does have a ‘gem’ system which does give you a slight advantage if you pay for them. The advantage is not huge. Gems don’t increase offense they increase defense mainly.
It is not visual, you don’t see your soldiers, they are numbers on a page.
It is a ‘timer game’ 4 hour build times, 4 hour troop return times. For some it is a 15 mins three times a day type game.

Unbalanced game environment
Do you want to build faster? An inapp purchase can do it. Do you want to research faster? Spend some dollars on gems to speed up. Do you want to gain any advantage over another player? Spend some dollars and I’ll let you have better research, construction, troop return speed and more!

Great game, challenging and very low battery drain.
Great game but with a limited number of participants
Don’t Even Try Getting Into It
New players can’t get into the game at all. Once you grow enough to where you have to attack others to get substantial amounts of land, you use your soldiers to attack someone; and then get instantly dogpiled by all the other long time players when your soldiers are gone and lose 5x the amount of land you took, and get put into a death spiral. And according to other reviews, they use alt accounts and glitches, alongside the dev knowingly turning a blind eye at the very least; which I wouldn’t doubt with the stuff I’ve seen. Likely all by design to encourage people to use the micro transactions. The game would actually be great if it wasn’t for this stuff. Don’t be tempted to spend a penny on this malicious garbage.

Garbage
Takes one week to make buildings, Six hours to make one soldier. By the way, everything is words only. There is no buildings that you can see or soldiers that you can see. Its all just texts that makes you wait hours and weeks to finish a building that you cannot see at all.

This game is in shambles bc of poor development & management. “Supports family” play is a joke bc you will get banned for playing on the same IP address. I want to like it & keep playing, but the management of this game is AWFUL.

Don’t waste your time. I spent a week building my kingdom and all of a sudden they locked my account. I have no idea why.

Really good game, been up for 12 years now and there’s still regular updates! Hope we get a full reset as there is no one active in the tank 800’s with me:-( Shame you have to use the net worth growth to judge if their active. That though is premium so it would be nice if there was a green or red dot next to a name which shows if they’ve been active over the last 7 days. Just a suggestion!

I love the game
This game is a great game and I enjoy playing it. My love that this game doesn’t pretend like it’s something it’s unlike other. The one thing I hate about other games is false advertising or it’s a pic from the opening scene. With this game what you see is what you get. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely not everyone cup of tea but it’s better then the other games that do this gameplay. It’s kinda long game tho so you can set your stuff up and walk away from it. Also no ads and I’ve also been playing for a little bit and already in the top 150. So pretty fast to level up.

Game has several bugs and glitches. There are not many people that play this game at all also. Sadly enough, out of the few that play it, there is a number of them that operate numerous accounts and also take advantage and glitches due to the game being poorly developed. The developer has been made aware of this but chooses to do nothing. He doesn’t punish those that ruin the game, he doesn’t fix well known glitches. There is no end game or goal set about to the game either. Just a few veteran players with multiple accounts that make it impossible for any new comer to enjoy the game for any extended period of time... Don’t waste your time with this one.

Don’t bother
If I could give this 0 stars I would. The social part of the game is good however, the developer (Paul) is unethical on how he decides to ban players. He plays the game and is involved with certain alliances that have exploited game bugs and they were not banned since he is friendly with them. Other players have done the same thing but they get banned for it. There is no consistency in the punishment for violating the TOS. Cheating should not be allowed period and ALL players should receive the same punishment.

Great to have it back
It’s great to have this back after a long absence. I loved it ‘back in the day’ (on an original iPhone!) and it’s just as good now.
