Fatal Flaw

I love this card game but I've noticed that it cheats. For example, it sees a red jack of hearts and places a black 10 of spades on the stack. But the next card it places on the same stack is a black 2 of clubs. What!?!?# &?! where were the other descending cards from 10! It was only holding 4 cards at the beginning of the hand! My friends have verified thr game makes these HUGE errors. I have verified this at each game difficulty level. Nope they fix it.

It’s rigged

I don’t know if it’s only my game because I checked other reviews to see if other players had the same problem. Going through the reviews, I didn’t and see other players having the same problem.

My problem is when it’s the computers turn, for example, it went from “red jack” all the way to “black 4”. I was confused. I played a few more times and payed attention and when it was the computers turn it did it again, but with different cards in the wrong order.

I love this game and I hope it’s not a glitch on my end. Please fix the problem.

Great accessible game!

I downloaded the free version of this app, but it didn’t take me long to get the paid version. I love this game! I’m blind and can use it very well with VoiceOver. I tried an accessible solitare game, but quickly deleted it in favor of King’s Corner. One aspect of the game which is perhaps not talked about as much is that I can play with my sighted wife. She can see the cards just fine. I did have to train her on how to move the cards with VoiceOver, but she quickly picked that up. King’s corner is just the card game I was looking for. Now, if we want to play a game together on my phone, King’s Corner is one of the choices, and ends up being the choice many times. I do get frustrated when the computer/bots beat me, but it is still fun. And, most of the time, I elect to play again. Thanks for a great game that is fully accessible, and can be played by anyone, regardless of vision. There is one suggestion I have for improving this game. Most of the time when I perform a VoiceOver double tap and hold gesture, or long press in order to move cards from my hand, I get feedback from the destination stack. However, there have been a few times that I slide my finger over where I think the destination stack should be and don’t get any audio feedback. Perhaps an option could be added to play a beep or give a slight vibration when the destination stack is reached. This would adress the issue when the stack doesn’t speak. This non-speaking doesn’t happen all the time, but it is something I have noticed. Other than that small quirk, this is the perfect accessible and addictive cardgame.

Many years ago, I heard that many sighted people played it. I’ve always wondered what the fascination was about that game, but haven’t found an accessible version to play.

Kings

I don’t know if I win, nothing says win or lose. No directions to go to on the board. How do I play this game? Its weird.

Predictive analytics

After awhile you can predict the outcomes of the games. The patterns aren’t really random generated.

Game doesn’t stay connected on Game Center

Game consistently disconnects through Game Center if the app isn’t always in focus. If my screen shuts off while waiting for it to be my turn, disconnect. Answering a text, disconnect. Unfortunately if it doesn’t stay connected, the functionality I bought it for doesn’t work as intended. The game is fantastically designed otherwise.

Great Game

We all know that computers can’t actually perform a truly random task, right? Play this enough and you’ll start seeing patterns. Whether it’s the program dumbing down your computerized opponent or stacking your deck to keep your win rate at about 66% or the uncanny odds aces are dealt along with their opposing duces, there’s definitely nothing absolutely random about this game. But it’s still loads of fun. I love the interface too.

Personable

My favorite part of this app besides the clarity of it, is you are able to add a picture to the back of your card deck and that is awesome 👏

Excellent design, excellent game

So glad I found this! The design and interface are super neat, everything flows smooth as can be. I’ve tried different types of solitaire games, and this is now my favorite one. It’s enjoyable to play, challenging but not frustrating. Way to go, developers! I also appreciate the fair premium price with no ads or IAP. I highly recommend this game!

Statistics bar

Love this game. Thank you for telling me that I just need to select the arrow at the top right of the screen to hide the bar.

Response from developer

Hi, as with previous versions, you can tap the arrow button in the top right-hand corner of the screen to show or hide this view. If you need help with anything else, please get in touch with us directly through our website (bitpress.co) so we can help since Apple limits our ability to respond to reviews. Otherwise, please consider updating your review now that you know how this works. Thanks!

I Love this Game!

It took a few minutes for me to understand how the game worked. In the past I had Kings Corner on another device and it showed the entire game on the device. This is set up differently! You have to go one at a time which the game size is larger. I love it! This game and the way it's set up Definitely deserves a A+++++=5 Stars

No multiplayer

Why haven’t you coordinated with Apple to fix the multiplayer functionality? Reading the reviews, it’s been broken for 7 years. Wrote to developer and they said its Apple Game Center issue. But it’s the developer’s problem if we can’t play their game with others as it is advertised in the description.

Problem with right side dragging

No matter how I try to move the cards to the right side of the playing screen the card cannot be moved to the spot I want, this is very frustrating since I paid for this version. This happens in the free version as well and I thought if I paid for it I would eliminate that problem.

Fun game

I love playing this game. However, if playing the computer, I get frustrated when the computer missed a move. I don’t want an easy game to win.

A few changes and this would be perfect

For folks learning, an undo button would be good. Also a way to get hints where it can be turned on and off as needed.

Awesome Game

I learned to play Kings In the Corner about 25 years ago and loved it. I'm so glad it's available in the app store.

Accessible game

A great card game that is accessible for the blind relying on Voice Over on iOS devices

Addictive

Love this game. I can’t stop playing. So addictive!!!!
