My view so far
I appreciate the variety of films I have been able to see but would appreciate more silent films being available. And across a variety of countries as well.
While many of the films I have liked would be considered “small films” not truly standouts but the breath of the countries whose films I can view is a pleasure I haven’t experienced since living in NYC in the 70’s and 80’s.

Class Act for Film Lovers
I like everything about Kino Film Collection. The Inventory, the variety, how user friendly the platform is. I’ve seen many incredible films and documentaries that I did not know existed. It’s a constant source of the new and the excellent in film.

Great v1 app but need some improvement
Soon, you will have to sort the films (at least) by genre, then year, duration etc…It will get messy soon.
Also please update the app to fix the disable forced subtitles (on non-english films)

Always surprised
I use my Filmatique subscription regularly and my two observations are 1) the films I see here I would not see elsewhere. 2) I usually end up enjoying each film more than I expected, which is pleasant for this jaded, cynical film lover!
No way to view film when using time slider bar
Failure for me if you can’t see anything when using the time slider bar to fast forward or rewind. Nothing shown in main window or smaller window like most all other movie apps do. Sad, selection of films may be good but this is a no-go for me. Will cancel.

You need to label movies that are captioned throughout, and movies where the captions cease (often because there is English dialog).
It is a real pain to watch a captioned movie and then with no warning the dialog is in English and I have no idea what is happening.
Really you should be captioning all content.
And you do not respond to emails asking to discuss this.
