Unfortunate Ending
I find the closing very fast paced and I was very upset. The app generally was a 5/5. The customization and the community were amazing! However the immediate shut down after a massive update is GREATLY unfortunate. It would’ve been appreciated to have a warning and keep the social tab open so we can keep in touch with our community and find ways to contacts each other.
With the decision of it not making money it is most unfortunate. I understand apps run on funds however I don’t understand why shutting down a new and growing app compared to Lifaphone? Most of the fan of the devs agree that it’s the least used apps and probably the most money draining in assumption considering a very small user base?
I hope you consider changing the social tab to give us more time to share with each other before it’s final closure or a reconsideration of sacrificing Lifaphone instead (silly)

Generative AI
This app used generative AI to make some of their code, and uses the users on the app to fuel genAI as well. The mods lack accountability, and the way they speak always rubs me the wrong way.
Plus, using lots of OSDD System terminology for some of their things (sourcemates, canonmates, “how often do you switch?”, etc)
I am very disappointed, as this app allowed me a community for those like me who don’t feel human. Fix your damn morals

this app uses your posts to train generative AI not just analytical AI like most apps use the creator of these apps is antisemitic and will ban you for speaking up the creator is an immature child

dangerous app for multiple reasons
firstly, this is an open community with ages 13+, mixing these teens in with adults. there’s no following feed or anything, so kids WILL see posts by adults. there is no great way to verify ages aside from an honor system.
secondly, the devs of this app have been rampantly banning users who ask about their past defenses of antisemitic behavior on their apps. the people who professed the antisemitism are allowed to stay.
lastly, the ai data usage policy is worrying. kids are sharing decently private info and the app ToS states public info can be used for generative ai training. one would hope that a smaller dev team would have more sense on this topic, but i suppose not.
and not to mention that the app is still very buggy and laggy and lacks the features one would want in a full social media app release.

i cant get past the username part!!
when it asks me to make an account, after it shows whats public and private it just immediately sends me back to the username section after pressing next!!

Can’t get past username, I have no idea why. I have tried everything, different names, closing out the app, I just want to get past this.

Issues in editing
It’s a really good app, only thing is that I’ve been having issues with the “doubles and sourcemates” part where I can’t set doubles as anything without it changing cannon source mates to “open to comparing”, and if I change that, it sets doubles to custom. So I’m stuck in a loop and it’s getting frustrating
