• The new Home tab A Home of your own on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV: a smart hero with the titles to resume, dynamic rows, "Tonight on TV" and custom feeds. You can customize or hide the Home and turn it back on from settings • Trakt integration Connect your Trakt account: progress and watched states stay in sync, you can rate a film or an episode when you finish it, import your history and choose which playlists the integration applies to. • IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic ratings Film and series pages show the IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Trakt scores right in the hero. TMDB remains the primary source. • Dynamic background Settings > Theme has a new Background picker: Black, theme color or Dynamic, which blends the featured poster behind the interface. Your choice syncs across devices, and on iOS the icon and widget follow it too. • Guided setup After your first playlist, a short walkthrough helps you set the essentials: playback profile, PIN, automatic opening. You can also copy settings from one playlist to another. • Sagas treated like a series The "Next" button in the player also suggests the following films in the same saga, and a collection's page has Play, Resume and Watch again just like a TV series. • Quick playlist switching on Apple TV Pressing Menu from the tab bar brings up the playlist selector before you leave: switch profile in one gesture. • Aether engine updated Aether engine updated to 6.75.0: it now lists every audio and subtitle track and starts VOD faster. • More reliable Chromecast and AirPlay Live channels over AirPlay now reach non-Apple TVs too. Several Chromecast bugs have been fixed. • EPG source easier to find The EPG source picker now also finds the IDs the guide doesn't declare, so more channels get the right programs. • More responsive The Home and detail pages open faster. • Player fixes Language tracks are clearer, and your preferred language is applied more intelligently even when tracks have odd names; with MPV the video is pixel-aligned, no more blurry logos; closing the player during a fallback no longer leaves ghost audio; reloading a live channel keeps the engine you picked by hand. • Continue watching fixes The row updates right after you close the player, resume works across devices for series too, and when a new episode is out you get "Resume SxEy" instead of "Watch again". • Metadata fixes Titles with a country prefix or a trailing year now find the right metadata, and a hand-picked poster survives a restart. • Arabic fixes In the player the horizontal gestures, the swipe between info tabs and the seek arrows follow the right direction, with Arabic-Indic digits on the buttons. • Apple TV fixes A channel preview goes full screen without reloading it, and "Require PIN to open Settings" now takes effect. • Other fixes The password reset link works even without the app installed, and incognito searches are no longer saved.
