Every baker and home cook knows the real recipe isn't the one you started with — it's the one you get to after five tries, three burnt batches, and a note to self about the oven running hot.
Kitchen Diary is where that trial-and-error actually gets tracked, instead of living in your head (or nowhere at all).
WHAT IT DOES
• Log every trial — rating, notes, photos, and the exact ingredients you used
• Never miss a rise — tap the time in any recipe step to start a built-in timer, and get an alert the moment your dough or bake is ready, even with your phone locked
• Watch your progress on each recipe, from day one to advanced to pro
• Speak a trial out loud and let AI turn it into clean notes and ingredients
• Paste a recipe link and pull the ingredients out automatically
• Snap a photo of a handwritten recipe and get it typed up for you
• Start from a built-in library of classic recipes
• Get AI insight and coaching on what to try next based on your trial history
FREE, NO CATCH
Typing in recipes and logging trials by hand is completely free — no account, no sign-in, no limit. Ever. The built-in timers and one photo per trial are free too.
The AI features — voice dictation, recipe scanning, link import, and insight — come with 50 free actions in your first month so you can try them out. No sign-in required.
KITCHEN DIARY PRO
Want the AI features after your free first month? Pro unlocks unlimited AI insight, scanning, link import, and voice notes — plus up to 5 photos and a video on every trial. The price is shown in the app in your local currency before you subscribe, and it renews monthly. Cancel anytime.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Your recipes and trial history are stored on your device, not our servers. We don't run ads or trackers.
Whether you're chasing the perfect sourdough crumb or just trying to remember what you did differently last time — Kitchen Diary keeps the record so you don't have to.
