Worse weather app
Idk who they have working for them but they will say it’s cloudy and it’s snowing 3 inches out of no where it’s never accurate anymore it’s ridiculous I depend on the weather in the morning before I leave and it hardly ever matches. It was snowing hard one time and when I looked at the radar there wasn’t anything so I was very confused

Horrible Choice for Notification sound
For some reason they have a person speaking as the sound of their notification. It scares the daylights out of my family, which means I have to turn notifications off. Which means the app serves very little purpose for me of I can’t get severe weather warnings. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea, but I’ve switched to another app because of it. To be clear, I WANT the notifications, but not someone talking! Also, I think it’s the voice of a meteorologist that doesn’t even work there any longer. lol

I know Mr. Bryon Bloodsaw I know I can trust what he says and have worked with him for over 25 years. Bryon was raised in that same way. He grew up on a ranch so he knows how important having the right weather means the difference of life and your livelihood!!!!
Because Bryon knows how important the correct weather is to his family and community not only is he truthful but he studies the weather and how it acts. Therefor you can depend on his tells you about it but he makes sure the people who work with and for him work very hard to learn how to understand what they are working with!! They also work just as hard to bring what they’ve learned to the people who depend on their forecast to us in a way that we can understand, and have faith in their forecasts!!

Unreliable. Generic.
This app used to be my go-to for forecasts, but the latest iterations have been wildly inaccurate. Not sure why that is, but it says something when the app’s forecast doesn’t match what they’re saying on the TV broadcasts. The only useful aspect of this app for me is the radar.
Not as good as it used to be
I used this app for a year and now the past 2 weeks it's giving me crazy readings for our area. Even deleted and downloaded twice and the same thing. No more KKTV Weather

While the CO background is pretty, and blurred, it is still difficult to read the weather information pages. Could the font be made bolder, larger or the background muted in color? It is difficult to read!
Cluttered with too many adds
I was excited to try the app, but found too many adds showing up as you scroll through. Not what I like or need.
Videos rarely play
The ads always play, but the forecasts don’t most the time.

Every morning first thing I check this app and I look at the hourly to make sure I’m going to have the right clothes for the day the right plans thank you so much☃️🌺
Good App; could be better
I enjoy using this app; however it is hard to read. I would change the background, so that it brings out the info in the foreground.

When we want a good update, we tap this station. On some other stations, we have to go on safari to find our current weather conditions.
Too many ads and no add-free option
I wish they offered an add-free paid option of the app. The forecast is pretty accurate though.
Radar video does NOT work
The radar on this app does not work. If the radar in the past works, the future doesn’t. Today neither shows rain my area and it is raining at my house. The still screen shows the current radar but if I back it up, no rain. If I want to see the future it never works right. I hate that they have this app for weather now when I really liked using their news app for everything. Alas, I use another station’s app!

Videos Time out and close app
I hope they get it resolved but the app has trouble playing videos. It acts like it’s loading but then closes the app. I get good weather updates from the KKTV new app though so I’m not too worried about it. Ads come with free apps so I have no complaints there.
Sad
A disorganized, dysfunctional, AD riddled attempt to hyper-monetize a public service. I get it. You’ve got to make money. But, this is sad. I am deleting the app and will find my weather and traffic elsewhere.
