Nothing but a solid black screen. No instructions, settings, or anything at all. I looked in my phone settings, but nothing helpful there. I'm not even sure what this app is supposed to do.

I’d give this handy gadget 5 stars if I could only figure out how to use it. There aren’t any settings or instructions? I would absolutely love to use it. I’ve tried everything I know of to find settings or some way to use it properly.

Easy go to app for a note, phone number, grocery item or a quick thought. I’ve tried many apps for such ease of use but nothing is better. It is a definite must have! Thank you developers!

The font size is quite small for old eyes. Simple but not so functional. Might be nice to print.

Maybe a little too simple
Not being able to increase text size or make other simple modifications is not good. The text right now is too small for me. I like small text, but 6pt is too teeny tiny.

Like my old standby Quick Drafts — which needs updating and doesn’t currently work — the main virtue of this barebones scratchpad app is that it opens instantly, making it just the thing the catch a fleeting thought or make a temporary note. It can also be used with copy & paste to convert formatted text to plain text.
Still, I was originally going to award it four stars rather than five because the type size was so tiny and I couldn’t see a way to change it. However, by reading other reviews, I learned to my relief that you can adjust the size either with the pinch/zoom gesture or in the app's panel in Preferences.
I urge the developers to add that crucial information to the basic instructions they already provide on the page you see the first time you launch the app.

Too simplistic!
It could be awesome if it would accept voice input.
Fixed: Doesn’t work on iPadOS 14.
This app needs to be updated to be compatible with iPadOS14. App immediately closes upon opening since I’ve updated iPadOS
Great app but after the latest iOS update it crashes
I really like Klipped. It is simple, it does what it is supposed to do well and it doesn't have a huge footprint.
Unfortunately, after the latest iOS update it crashes just a fraction of a second after it load up. I uninstalled it and re-installed it but it keeps crashing. Shame.

I keep lots of temporary notes that definitely don’t need sorted or archived. So, this is the perfect app for me! 💛 10/10 stars for simplicity, ease of use, and both light and dark mode.

The Perfect Plain Text App! Streamlined!
I LOVE this app! Just to clarify: this app converts any copy/text you paste into the body to plain text--removing html coding & graphical elements. It has 2 modes: blackboard & whiteboard. The blackboard is great because you can be in a dark room and not disturb people because the screen emits less light and is easier on your eyes to work with over hours at a time. The whiteboard works just as well! Very simple interface. There is no way to save different notes--it's all 1 page and that's all you get. Great, simple tool!
