What's New in Klister
2.0.0

Klister 2.0 — the biggest update yet WAX THAT LEARNS FROM YOU • Wax recommendations from snow temperature and conditions; your own logged results come first once Klister has seen you ski in similar conditions. • Wax Box: keep what you own and see whether the recommended wax is in it. Wax Morning Brief: tomorrow's wax call the evening before, from the forecast at your home trail. • Snow temperature on every session, estimated from the weather or your own reading. TRAILS, RECORDS, SEASON • Trails: name a loop once and Klister tracks attempts and personal bests; live "vs PB" on phone and watch. • Per-kilometre splits, loop auto-lap, streaks, personal bests including best-effort 5K and 10K, a heatmap of every route, Glide Score, Training Load and Season Wrapped. • Virtual classics: ski the Vasaloppet, Birkebeinerrennet, Canadian Ski Marathon or Tour de Ski as a journey goal, through the real towns along the way. • Ski odometer per pair with grind reminders. Session photos. Light left before dusk with a headlamp nudge. APPLE WATCH • Your watch session on the phone: Home card and Lock Screen Live Activity with Pause and End, like the Fitness app. • Five pages during a session: metrics, heart-rate zones with time in each, splits, elevation, controls. Split and loop buzzes, auto-pause, heart-rate zones, always-on display, wax hint and goal on the start screen, a Season complication that starts a session, spoken cues. • The route is saved to Apple Health, so Fitness shows the map. MORE • Off-season training: log runs, walks, hikes and rides, or import them from Apple Health; they count toward your season as ski-equivalent distance without touching your ski stats. • Import your history from Apple Health (Strava, Garmin, Apple Watch workouts) or GPX. • Home Screen widgets, Siri shortcuts, richer charts with heart-rate zones and pace over terrain, Season Desk on iPad and Mac. • Now in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and German. • Fixes: Apple Watch Start crash, iCloud backup, long watch sessions that never reached the phone, first-launch smoothness.
