Sleep timer
It streams really well, but it doesn’t respond to the iPhone’s built-in sleep timer. Hopefully the developers can fix that or add one of their own?
Weird blips while streaming
KMFA is my favorite of the available classical music apps, but when I use it, there is a very audible “blip” every 4-5 seconds. The timing and the sound itself are random—never the same twice. Can anyone help me fix this?
Shows a lot but tells you nothing.
Lots of fancy graphics but it won't tell you what's playing. Putting the app on ice until they develop something helpful for the listener. There are so many other stations with good content AND a good app. Wake up, KMFA.
Works great
I like the listen live feature as well as the new city audio tour. What a great way to incorporate Austin landmarks and Austin history into the classical music I listen to every day! It adds a new layer and perspective to the pieces.
Background woe
I love KMFA. Please make it so this app runs while I use another app or, heaven forbid, read a book.
So So performance. Often will drop!
I then go to kusc or kdfc for classical music.

Visiting our daughter in California and having KMFA along with us is just like being at home musically. Stations in Southern California are iffy at best. Good clear reception on app.

Opera lover
The app crashes when it tries to display a picture of the album cover of the piece that is playing. Please fix before the opera broadcast season resumes.

The app shuts down as soon as I try to play live radio. I'm hoping they fix this issue soon, as I see that I'm not the only one with this problem.
A Very Happy Camper!
Yeah, it was a little "touch and go" at the beginning, but with the latest version of the app the streaming is much improved. Even though I live in a major city, its radio offerings of classical music are abysmal. I have now regained what was once lost, and I'm in classical music heaven. Many thanks, KMFA, for engineering this app!

The app frequently crashes before it has finished loading.
Works well
Some hiccups in live stream, but I have not experienced the app crashing as others report. Much better at streaming (doesn't stop playback to buffer every 30 seconds) like the NPR app.
