More talk, less commercials
Constant commercial breaks and often times hear the same commercial twice in the same break. Is this talk radio or commercial radio?

Wow all the ads and some stuff you click on and it takes you into another dimension. Horrible updates, go back to simple
App Needs MAJOR help
Just spent the last 10 minutes trying to bring up the app…
1. App starts takes several seconds to connect.
2. Then I listen to 2 or 3 commercials before for
the program starts.
3. I listen to anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds.
4. Connection drops.
5. Repeat 1 - 4.
Notice a problem?
By the way I’m sitting line of site across the room from my internet connection.

Don’t Waste Your Time
Why would anyone want to download this app? I don’t ever write reviews but this might be the dumbest app ever put together. I can’t believe Apple allowed this to be put up here. If you download it thinking you’ll get to listen to KMJ in any form or fashion similar to what you normally hear on the radio... think again. This is basically a continuous stream of ads. I’ve been listening for 10+ minutes and so far... only ads. This is seriously dumb, very disappointed in what otherwise is my favorite local radio station.

Why so many intrusive adds?
I want to listen to your station online but I have to wait for your adds to pass on the app as I stand there growing more annoyed by the second just to turn around and listen to commercials from the station. Don’t you guys make enough money with your normal broadcast advertisements? Why frustrate your online listeners any further?

App keeps crashing
It crashed 3 times in 3 minutes, and then you have to listen to a 30 second ad first. Terrible app.
Resets Every 5 Minutes Under IOS13
Since updating to IOS13, my KMJ580 app shuts off about every 5 minutes. The broadcast stops. I have to close and re-open it, then listen to all the ads again. (10/2/19).
Far too many ads
I was hoping that my experience would differ from the other reviewers here. It wasn’t! I’ve been listening for five whole minutes now and I’ve yet to hear anything other than ads. On the other hand, the stream hasn’t dropped yet.
Seven minutes in now and I haven’t heard the show, only commercials.
10 minutes in and no show. I’m deleting the app now.

A can’t use app.
App won’t open using cellular data. Why even get.

KMJ app
Because I love listening to this show, I thought it would great to have it on my phone. But this app is lousy. Keeps dropping for no reason. I’ve tried deleting app and reinstalling. This did not help. Disappointing!!

Too bad. I like this station. I live in SFrancisco and can’t get it over the air. There is no audio, incessant ads, lots of twitter stuff which if I wanted I would go to twitter, not easy to use. What more can I say? My rating would be zero but it’s not available.
Stupid app
Horrible app that disconnects often and for no apparent reason. The only reason I know about it is that love the content and must listen on-line.
There are too many "corporate" ads and PSA's that run over, and over, and over, and over again that don't run on the broadcast side.
No ability to pause & rewind.
Why not just make your stream available to TuneIn Radio and call it a day?

every time you want to listen you have to sit and listen to 20 ads. no thanks
Poor Performance
When it works, it's just fine, but too often I can't connect or the stream drops. Don't understand why all music streams work flawlessly and a news stream can't.
New update Crashes
The newest update crashes and app shuts down all the time. I can't listen more than 5 minutes without the app crashing.
It works but Ads!
So many ads! Ads when you open the app, ads while the app is open, ads playing while your are listen to the stream and on-air ads! I'm ok with the on-air ads if the rest wasn't there.
The main part of the app looks so crapy good thing it streams in the background and I don't have to look at it; but then audio ads start playing the background!

Could be better
Seems to always cut off before finishing the news stories. Like right now how I was listening and it cut to a commercial during breaking news! Deleted until it gets fixed.
Love KMJ HATE the app
I was so excited to download this app because I love listening to KMJ. However, the app times out constantly and it is very frustrating to have to restart it all the time. I have finally given up and will delete the app. I hope KMJ 580 can fix it because they have such wonderful programming.

I hate this app! It downloads from the cloud then after playing for a few minutes it goes off the air and gets stuck! I have to delete it and do it again. Not doing it again.
