Used to own the full version of this and the first game. The one without a cash shop. Seriously I hate it here.
Great game overall!
There is a ton of depth to this game, with plenty of replay ability with different classes. There are some bugs unfortunately, and the one that is currently very annoying is where ads don’t count for rewards, and sometimes you have to watch them several times for a single reward. For example, it takes the ads to get the three rewards the game offers you each day. Today, I watched a total of 14 ads instead of 3. Very frustrating, but not enough to deny that the game is generally pretty great, albeit a bit grindy. Give it a try!

Uhh, I get phone games for when I’m traveling and have limited or no internet access. Discovering this game is unplayable unless my internet is active has basically made this useless
Crafting recipes
There is a major bug the prevents the recipes you find from investigating areas from showing up in the crafting menu making the them impossible to know.
Recent update ups Ads
Was a 5-star rating for this game, really fun and well designed, funny, and great hat tip to classic D&D + turn based RPGs…. But the recent update has slammed its Ad war hammer down on players… there was always ads to watch to get perks and fun stuff (they were fine and not too invasive) but now they are way more intrusive and aggressive and even when you watch them they don’t work and half the time you need to re watch for it to work

Crapware
Just another example of a good game, a good piece of software that was acquired and overly monetized. If you want forced updates, constant nudging for you to purchase in app purchases and an overall worse experience then this game is for you.

Why is this pay to play?
When paradox owned this, you played once and had to grind the game normally no p2w or p2p. No micro transactions, but hey anything to squeeze another cent out of consumers right?
Great Charm, Cheap Tactics
I loved the original game, and while this evolves the graphics and gameplay, the monetization is just GROSS. Microtransactions drape over every element of gameplay.
A fun game with monetization issues
I remember playing the older version of this, and really enjoying it. The framing of a table top game is fun, and the jokes are funny. The gameplay is good and scratches the RPG itch.
The problem comes in with the monetization. They push packs of gold, have a low gold drop rate, and have high costs for basic items. An example: a battle with 5 enemies (listed as hard) drops around 100 gold. A starting weapon costs 800 gold. Or you can shell out cash to buy gold. It just makes me sad. Will still play, but may not get too far

What a surprise
The game is actually really good, if you grind a few hours for diamonds while farming monsters you won’t need to buy anything with real money. 9/10 for the dnd vibes

Disappointing I was enjoying it until well forced ads no thanks! I wanted to pay to remove them but the only offer it directed me to was over 20 quid! I wouldn’t recommend this game! I prefer the third one!
