Love the community
My birthday gift every year is my membership to Knit Camp. I have tried things I never thought I could or would - steeking, sweater surgery, using many different weights of yarn, mosaic knitting, swatching - just to name a few. Our community is always there to cheer me on. They provide so much inspiration. My favorite part of the KALs is seeing the many color combinations. Well worth the price.

Unfortunately Knit Camp doesn’t like the outcome of the last election and they are blatantly open to let you know you aren’t welcome here if you don’t have the same political views as them.

Marie brings such sunshine, positive energy, encouragement, and joy to my knitting and she backs it up with all the things…tutorials, patterns that are free with knit camp, Q and A, and help! Plus yarn shop discounts and tours! And a community of friends and KAL’s. Morning livestreams are better than a second cup of coffee!

The Beat Thing I Do For Myself…and my knitting!
I am a proud Founding Member of Knit Camp and cannot say enough good things about it! Marie’s positive energy pervades the community. There are so many talented knitters willing to share their tips tricks and encouragement, plus great patterns and wonderful lessons…..

Not accessible to visually impaired
By 2023, every other iOS app has figured out how to enlarge text…except knitcamp. And frustratingly, knitcamp is the only way to see posts and notifications if you’ve paid to be a member of Knit Camp. If you have problems with vision, maybe Olive Knits isn’t for you

Knit Camp great, App awful
The app is superficially ok but whoever designed “forgot” about accessibility. While the font on some pages can be made larger, the activity feed is a standard size text. If your vision is poor, you have to take a screenshot and zoom that. Basically it cuts you out of the main purpose of interacting with other knitters. I can only imagine that the app designer is young or not very experienced. Love Marie’s patterns but but not sure I’ll stay in knit camp next time renewal comes around. Paying a lot to NOT participate

This app is the connection into a wonderful experience! Connecting with other supportive and friendly knitters, getting to know Marie Green, free patterns, discounts, and knit alongs - it a beautiful app and beautiful people that I enjoy every day!

Marie and Knit Camp have really elevated my knitting with all of the amazing teaching tutorials, classes, workshops and events. We get free patterns and discounts on patterns and workshops. The Knit Camp community is invaluable to me not only with real time encouragement, support and help with my knitting, but within the app we also have common interest clubs, like cooking, reading, and true crime!

This app works so well and the knitting community inside is amazing! The app connects me to worldwide knitters, lead by Marie Greene who is a wonderful designer and teacher. Her joyful personality is infectious! I recommend this app and the KnitCamp community highly.

If you are or want to be a knitter, Knit Camp is the online community for you! I was knitting before I joined, but my knitting has improved by leaps and bounds in these last few years with Marie Greene! there is so much expertise within the Knit Camp group it is really awesome! Any questions, thoughts, shares, are always welcome and lovingly supported by the community! Knit Camp has so many opportunities for learning with tutorials on “all of the things”, KALs, annual knitting challenge projects, virtual retreats, tips and tricks from hundreds of your KC BFFs, the KC support team and of course, Marie! Knitcamp, The Best Years
Discovering Oliveknits and Marie has been a total joy. I have been knitting forever, and alone for the most part. Even I , who is old as the hills, learn new and exciting things. My “Knitting Friends” do not live in my neighborhood, but appear on line with a click of a button. I appreciate Marie, the Team and a great App.
