Near Perfection

I would love to see machine knitting instructions for flat bed machines. Then it would be absolutely perfect!!

Excellent but wish for machine knit instructions

I love this app but I wish for machine knitting instructions please. ❤️

Review of KnitsThatFit hat app

4stars. It does all that it promised. I do thank you for giving it the same capabilities as KnitsThatFit sweater app to which I am very familiar. I love the flat hat pattern since I am a machine knitter. The only thing I miss is the schematic.

How about a size chart ? Premie - adult male

Can other styles / shapes be added ??? Fitted top. Santa ^ hat . Elf V hat. Basic Cloche hat. Turban pill box ???????

Love my KnitsThatFit apps. !!!

Hat to match

If I have yarn leftover from sweater knitting I use this app to make a matching hat. Quick and easy.

Love it! The only Hat knitting pattern I need!!

I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and I’ve knitted lots of different style hats with it for myself and for the whole family, all successful. I love that I can use any yarn I choose. Fab that I can now add my own notes, and the new row counter is absolutely fantastic and love how it follows the pattern!

Seems not complete

Every swatch instruction, no matter yarn tension, says to cast on 28 switches. Hat Instructions say to knit hat rise (body of hat) “naninches.” And hats knit in the round end by saying to sew up seam. I contacted support and got no reply. Worthless app.

Response from developer

We are sorry you have had these 3 issues. The app is - and always has been - ‘complete’. We use the app ourselves and the first two issues have never been seen ourselves in use or in our extensive testing. The third, regarding sewing up a seam when knitting in the round, has now been corrected and would not have prevented the user from knitting a hat from the instructions. The first two problems you describe indicates that your pattern has been generated with incomplete data. There are two potential causes; Firstly you may not have completed all of the settings before saving and viewing the pattern. The latest update addressed this as it will not allow you to save a pattern with incomplete settings. If this is not the case then it may be a software glitch that might be cured by power cycling your device or by deleting the app and reinstalling it. We apologise for not responding to your message, which did not reach us, possibly due to an external issue that has long since been resolved. If you are still experiencing problems, or require further assistance, please contact us again.
