Help! Audio no longer works!
I have literally had this app on my phone for over a decade. Just recently since it was updated and I lost audio. I’ve checked every setting on my phone and audio works everywhere else. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and it still doesn’t work. Please tell me what I can do to restore audio to this wonderful app. It is my favorite app on my phone.

Still The Best!
I purchased this app at least a decade ago, and I still love it. I love that it is of phenomenal quality, a wonderful teaching and learning tool. Paramount to its value, is the fact that it does not hold you hostage to a subscription as the trend now days perpetuates. Which is a rare quality of demonstrated integrity versus the persistent unrelenting greed of today’s app marketers.

Please update this app!
I use to love this app but it has not been updated in 4yrs. The video quality is super low. At time the knitters hands are off camera while they are still explaining what they are knitting. Not helpful if I can see what they’re doing.
A waste of time and money
For years I waited to put this on my phone. I would be in faraway places and stuck with a knitting pattern to interpret sooo finally I bought it and HATE it! The video use a woman who is confused herself showing you what to do and the abbreviation I need is not listed.
Vidéos are not good
In almost every video the camera moves away from the presenter's hands while the presenter does the most important step. This is most aggravating. What I don't understand is why these videos weren't corrected or re-done. Certainly the developer could see that 90% (no exaggeration) of the videos lose the camera.
If it wasn't for this monumental mistake, this would be a reasonable source of knitting instructions for the relatively new knitter. As is, it is useless.

Useful for any knitter
This is such a useful app! I’m a reasonably advanced knitter but still find myself forgetting simple things on occasion; this app is a great memory jog for me. The videos also helped me years ago when I was struggling with different stitches and techniques. Highly recommended — I hope they keep it updated!

This is almost no help at all, some videos are bad, can’t believe I had to pay for such lousy help. You
Tube is much better help and it’s free. I gave two stars only because it gives continental and English methods, but then so does YouTube I wish I could get my money back 😒

A disappointment so far
I just downloaded this app in order to get help with a summer top. The first term I looked up “cdd” was not in the abbreviations.
The audio did not work on M1L, and M1R had no directions at all.
At this point I have buyer’s remorse!

App no longer loads
With iOS updates this app doesn’t load. A bummer for a paid app!
Best reference tool I have found
I taught myself knitting and when I found this app it helped my take on projects I was hesitant about before. When I’ve made mistakes, this app has helped show me how to go back and fix them without having to pull the whole thing apart.

Great little app
I just love this app. No need to be home with your knitting reference book or hunting all over the Internet for help when you unexpectedly encounter a less-than-familiar stitch or glitch: the help you need is likely right here, clear and well organized, literally at your fingertips. This is the app I recommend to knitting friends & family.

The BEST way to learn
These concise videos show me exactly how to make the stitch in question. I can watch her needles up close, and I can re-watch as many times as needed. This is the perfect way to learn: no stress, no performance anxiety, no fear of holding back others in a class. This app is BETTER THAN a live teacher.

Help! Why are all the videos unfocused?
Only sometimes helpful
Overall, I’m disappointed. I’m a new knitter and the few times I went to the app looking for a video on how to do that stitch I was let down and went back to YouTube. The videos are either shaky, too far away to see what the needles are doing, or I couldn’t find one for my question. Browning was interesting and there is a lot of info, that’s why I gave it three stars and not less.

So useful, so big
Update: I had deleted this app due to its unbearable size but downloaded it again when I noticed it had been updated. It is still big and still does not allow for archiving videos. There is SO MUCH space taken up by videos that videos that experienced knitters do not need. The information is great, but please let us choose which videos we want to store in memory.
Original review: I love this app. I downloaded it to take into rural China so I could knit and not worry about getting stuck. The only thing I would strongly suggest is to update the app to allow users to delete videos they know they will never need. I do not need the English style videos or basic k/p and having that extra space on my phone would be nice.

Updated! Fabulous knitting help! Don't knit without it!
Update-I was getting warning notices that this app had not been updated in some time and would not be compatible with iOS 11. I am delighted to see that they did do an update and it is just as useful as it was in the past and I am very please that I will be able to continue to refer to it. My review stands.
I recently resumed knitting after a nearly 30 break. Back when I knitted for my baby daughter and now I'm knitting for her baby daughter. So some of my skills are a bit rusty and having this app to refresh them, and to learn a few new ones as patterns may call for. The information is presented clearly and is easy to follow and understand. I love it!
