After 3 minutes on my walk it shuts off
App is solid and reliable
I saw old reviews complaining about stability and reliability of the app. I’ve used it since 2022 or so, and here in 2026 it’s solid and Just Works. Great music too

Streaming is difficult I understand that
I wish it didn’t drop the signal so much and after it dropped the signal which would start back at where it dropped. I don’t mind being behind a bit. I just hate missing parts of music and the news

Great jazz, and news
I like listening to this station because it gives you a broad range of jazz and some new jazz as well as the great old jazz and you do get news reports which sometimes brings you back to reality
New app
The new app is awful. All I want to do is listen to jazz, not have to pick and choose a podcast. In my opinion the old app was simpler and better.

Great app for delivering content -but could be better.
Generally I love this app, especially the NPR+ feed.
Yet an important upgrade is in line. Currently if I’m listening to the NPR Politics podcast, at the end of the story it sends my feed the next oldest story.
Because I keep up, it’s always serving up old repeats. It would be better if the app knew which episodes of each pod the listeners have heard - and then serves the next logical UNHEARD episode of that pod.
Yet an important upgrade is in line. Currently if I’m listening to the NPR Politics podcast, at the end of the story it sends my feed the next oldest story.

I enjoy using the KNKX app when I travel, so I can hear familiar voices, NPR news, and great music anywhere.

Great content, app could use a bit of love
KNKX content is awesome, but app is subpar compared to other streaming apps, specially when it comes to auto pause/play when swapping audio output, switching to other apps or removing earphones

Better…
The new app is much more functional and I like it, however as in most music-related apps it would be nice to see the song title and artist playing when you look at the app home, rather than having to click menu, then playlist.
