Great game, but…

The game quality and gameplay are both really fantastic! However, the main thing that’s annoying is the fact that it’s paid access after the first three fights.

Huge Issue

The game is fun, the story is very tongue in cheek but theres ooooone glaring issue: THE FINAL BOSS IS IMMORTAL!! After you get her life all the way down it stops decreasing and the boss wont take anymore damage.

BEST game I’ve played this year.

Alright, I’ve seen a lot of games in the App Store, none have caught my interest, and when they have… they were lowkey boring… but this, this is awesome! And funny. I really enjoy the controls of the game, and I love how you just throw hands with everyone. If you ever do make a third game, hit me up.

We kept the price cheap though, eight bucks here in America. No ads, no loot boxes, and nothing to waste your time to string you along for revenue. You buy the game once and it's yours, in its entirety, forever.

I was sooooo excited for this sequel, so I download it 2 months before it came out. Then I get met with ‘Buy the full game!’ That was a let-down.

We constantly went back and forth on whether this game should be ad-supported. In the end, we decided ads have become too toxic to players. We'd rather risk a few bad reviews than have a terrible user experience. The compromise we came up with was to offer the first three fights for free, like the Steam demo, while keeping the cost as low as possible after Apple's cut, matching the price of the Dairy Queen chicken strip meal deal.

The perfect sequel!

This sequel improves upon the original in every way, with the best part being the difficulty. I felt like Election Year Knockout didn’t really get difficult till the last few presidential fights, but this game gets difficult fast, which is better to have, since Punch-Out has always been a difficult series. Thank you so much to Exceptionull games for making this!

The truth is, ads aren't worth it to small developers anymore. Then, when we do use them, we get rated down for how bad ads have become. We'd rather users hate us for a paywall than to give them a bad experience. If you ever have an app or game you like, know that even a single dollar is worth hundreds of times more than that developer will ever receive from you watching a lifetime of ads.

Fun game with helpful Developers

I enjoyed the characters, emphasis on counter punches for a more unique style of difficulty, and customization. Edit: it looks like they fixed this app closing whenever my iPad sleeps or changes apps. I appreciate the responsive developers, and the Karen breakdown in the game, with bridezilla being my favorite lol.

このゲームは遊んでいてワクワクしない。
名作ボクシングゲーム、パンチ・アウトにインスパイアを受けて製作された「Election Year Knockout」に続いて満を持して登場したこのゲームは、前作に比べるとあまりワクワクしない。ゲームシステムは前作から受け継いでいるものの、絵柄は大幅に変わっている。しかし、なによりカタルシスが足りない。
前作はアメリカの政治家にそっくりな対戦相手を倒していき、やがてホワイトハウスに居座るドナルド・サンプと対決する…という最終目標ががあった。相手を倒していくたびにアメリカの大地が自分の陣営の色に染まり、ラスボスに近づいていくそのワクワク感が、このゲームにはない。本作はFBI（連邦ボクシング捜査局）の捜査官として、クレーマーおばさんや詐欺師などの迷惑な奴らを拳を交えるという前作に続いてなかなかシュールなストーリーなのだが、このゲームには初めからはっきりとわかるラスボスがいない。だからカタルシスがない。
問題はそれだけではない。絵柄が変わったどころか、アニメーションのフレームが少なくなっている。これでは敵の攻撃を読むのが難しい。さて、これだけならまだ我慢できる。1番の問題は、ボリュームが前作に比べて圧倒的に低いにも関わらずフルコンテンツの値段が前作以上であることだ。前作は課金で解放される相手を含めて12,含めなくても9人だったにも関わらず、今作の対戦相手は8人のみだ。さらに、前作では一度全員を倒すと、動きや強さが変わった相手と戦えるという元ネタのタイトル防衛戦さながらのモードがあった。しかし、今作にはそれがない。コンテンツの量が圧倒的に少ないにも関わらず、前作よりも高い価格設定というのはやはりお世辞にも良いとは言えない。
しかし、パンチ・アウトが大好きな方ならきっと楽しめるゲームだろう。これからのアップデートでコンテンツが追加されることを祈る。
