Problem solved

A very simple plugin but highly effective. Instead of having a bass chain stuffed with way too many plugins to get your bass to be heard on smaller speakers this neat one stop does away with all that confusion and CPU overload highlighting those tricky low mids and upper frequencies . Very pleased with this purchase.

Just by way of balance....

I like it:)

It's not the most self explanatory app in the world and in common with Luxe, it's not immediately clear what it does. It essentially seems like you've got a kind of single band EQ thing going on which you sweep x & y to highlight and amplify lower frequencies, but the blurb mentions filters and modulation things, so what do I know? I do know that there's not an awful lot of information on screen, except for a dancy line thing which sort of make sense in an abstract way. So you more or less have to do it by ear really, which is probably a good thing. Anyway, it punches, it rumbles, it beefs, it booms if you want that sorta caper. I think it's useful for clearing up the muddy mess that can fester right at the bottom end sometimes, giving low rumbles a bit more of a distinct 'source' sound. Worth having imo, but then I did get it on sale. It did seem a bit pricy at full whack I seem to remember...

..

I’ve a lot of the klevgrand stuff and I have no issues, most of them very well justify the cost, high end outstanding products, this however, should have been free and I probably still wouldn’t have kept it. Looking forward to an update that takes this pile of sh.! and turns it into a real klevgrand quality plugin..

Uh...

Usually love Klevgrand. This is not moving the needle in any way. Sorry to not be more specific, but pretty bummer plugin.

FAQ

What is Knorr used for?

Knorr is an AUv3 audio plugin designed to add intensity and unique overtones to monophonic low-frequency audio sources, particularly bass sounds. It achieves this through a combination of filtering and modulation techniques.

How does Knorr work?

Knorr processes incoming audio using a proprietary algorithm that combines filtering, amplitude modulation, and frequency modulation. This creates overtones not achievable with standard distortion or filtering methods.

Can Knorr be used on sounds other than bass?

Yes, while developed with bass sounds in mind, Knorr can be applied to any monophonic sound source that has audio content in the low-mid frequencies and below.

What are the main controls in Knorr?

Key controls include the XY Pad for adjusting bandwidth and energy, Range for low-pass filter frequency, Level for audio content volume, and Bite for modulation intensity. There is also an Output control and a Bypass switch.

Does Knorr work as a standalone app?

No, Knorr is an AUv3 only plugin and requires a compatible host application such as GarageBand, Cubasis, or Auria to function. It cannot be used as a standalone application.

What is the price of Knorr?

Knorr is available for a one-time purchase of $8.99. The app does not feature in-app purchases or advertisements.

On which devices can I use Knorr?

Knorr is currently supported on iPads. It requires an AUv3 compatible host application to run.

How often is Knorr updated?

Knorr was last updated on October 15, 2019, to version 1.0.0. Further updates would depend on developer plans for new features or compatibility.
