Knots 3D is the best app for teaching you how to tie. I have used it to learn different kind of knots for fishing. I also use it as a reference to remind me on knots that I have not used for a long time. The graphic and animation showing the steps are way better than others. Definitely a great tool to have. FIVE STARS. Highly recommended!!

Worth it without a doubt
My buddies love to fish and camp a bunch. I've never been good with remembering the knots with months or years in between tying em and this app lets me not have to worry about that cause it's easy to learn the knots off just this without any internet.

Excellent knot app
For learning a new knot, or understanding an old knot, i have not found a better app. The explanations of origin, uses, and relationship to other knots are extremely helpful. It is like having an animated version of Ashley’s Book of Knots in my phone.
