Love it, but one technical issue
Love love love KnotSwap. My only complaint is that even with all notifications settings turned on, I don’t get notifications about messages from people trying to do trades. Sometimes I forget to check and it’s been a few days since some messaged me 😬

Great app for bartering, the only thing I’d change is to maybe be more specific about what you can barter, there’s a lot of people bartering “skills” that aren’t really skills at all, ie having a conversation or making a playlist.
Very cool concept, still cooking
Love the idea, and I can definitely see this taking off. Currently it’s a bit buggy and the community is fairly small so if you’re in a more rural area you’ll of course be more limited. But I definitely hope the community grows and that the app continues to get updates, I’ve already started working on some trades I got after having it for just a day! If you have stuff you’re willing to trade or a skill you wanna share definitely join the app!

Just what we need right now
Such a delight, to flip through different offerings, come up with your own ways to help people, and just meet real folks. An eco/anarcho/punk/grandpacore craigslist. Love it. Collaborative and fun.
A great idea
I just deleted my account and the app, not because I don’t see the vision, but because of the user base. Everyone seems very young, 15-18, and the majority of trades are for “friends” “penpals” or “playlist making”. It’s cute but it’s not useful. Theres no one on here offering something I’d trade my leaf blower and end tables for. I’ll come back in a few months when the user base has grown to house more people and hopefully actual adults. The age limit for the app should be raised if this is to be taken seriously as a bartering platform.

So refreshing and inspiring!!!
I actually feel good about being on a social app!! It’s such a rare feeling. I am so into this idea and concept, truly something new and exciting!!! I did want to list some bugs I’ve been having. Whenever I open the app it appears empty at first til I refresh. Also I had 2 notifs pop up but I can’t see them when I go to trade —> proposals. On the proposals page there’s an empty space where it seems there should be a notification. Just mentioning so you know! I don’t have insta to DM you. I believe it you and what you’re doing!! Thank you!

Fun app
Lovely app that has a lot of interesting people and trades‚ most of the trades are online unless you live in a big city (especially LA) though. My one change would be to allow you to change the pictures on your posts‚ so you don’t have to delete the people who liked it when you are updating the image.

Worldwide bartering!
Great app idea, love how it’s made by a small creator. Very open source concept, and transparent on how the app works.
It’s still very new, and still shows some bugs every now and again. But even still, this app will grow to be an amazing platform!

Exciting - needs more people!
A very cool idea for an app! Lots of functionality, good fixes with every update, and of course the concept is very cool. I haven’t made any trades yet because there aren’t many people in my area so I’m reviewing with the hope of boosting the app!

Notes for creators (Bugs)
Hey guys, I’m obsessed with your app! Trading skills until the app gets bigger has been super fun.
A few things I’ve noticed though:
- Images in the chat feature don’t work.
- the miles away thing doesn’t always work as intended. Ex: I’m in Canada, I set it to 25 miles away and get stuff from Sweden.
-links that are pasted in chat they are not clickable
- there is no copy and paste feature. This is troublesome for the above reason and also for accessibility. I’m dyslexic so if there is no speaking feature I will paste it into an app like notes or Google translate so I can hear it. I can’t do that as it is now :(
Please fix these, it will make the app so much better and closer to what I assume was intended in the first place.
