Suddenly won’t load
Game is ok. I wish there was an option to get a hint for just a letter.

Nice idea; poor implementation
Two out of four puzzles, I had to guess arbitrarily because one of the words is not actually a word. I suppose technically “doest” is a word, but I don’t think it’s been used since the King James Bible, where it was archaic even for 1611, much less 2026.
Also, the UX is clumsy. I don’t know what the rule is for where it moves the cursor next, but it seems to always go wherever you least want or expect it to go. And it’s hard to tell from the UI that you’re about to overwrite an existing letter, so you do so and then have to figure out how to undo that and then manually click where you wanted it to go. Maybe with enough experience I could get used to this, but I can’t imagine wanting to get that much experience.

Please change cursor auto positioning
The whole point of this game is solving puzzles quickly, is it not? The fun of it is in racing yourself to see if you can beat personal bests… right? Ok, great. Please change the way the highlighted box that accepts the next entry for a letter defaults based rigidly on rote order rather than intelligently defaulting to the next EMPTY box. In nearly every game, it’s almost impossible not to type over your own entries and jumble the words because the default keeps highlighting FILLED boxes and placing new entries in places that are already taken, forcing you to slow down and reposition the highlighter manually after every single entry. It’s a maddening issue and the game would be a lot more fun if it were fixed.

1. Okra is plural, prof is slang. You can’t allow slang only when you need to. 2. Nope definition is to hit on the head. (What?!)

Glitches! Why can’t this game just jump over to the next box after placing a letter in a box! This game makes me crazy!
Addictive game but sometime the hints and definitions are just plain wrong
It is an addictive game and most of the bugs a have been fixed but the definitions and hints ar just WRONG. Since when are walls the plural of a spring of water?
Request for Archive to display the last month viewed via Archive instead of the current month.
I have completed over 700 daily puzzles and at times I go back to previous months to solve unsolved Daily puzzles via the Archive button. However, the Archive button always resets to current month and as such, I have to tap back over 40 months through to get to a month where there are unsolved puzzles. Is it possible to have the archive button retain the last month worked on instead of defaulting to the current month?

Addictive game but some bugs
It is an addictive game but frustratingly no matter how many times I win my way back to six hints, when I reopen I am stuck at three. Also some of the hints are just wrong so no help at all. For instance since when is chars: a plural form of xxxx a time; a turn or an occasion?
Used to be fun
Been playing for months but lately they have been using words that virtually no one has ever heard of. Took the fun out.
Aarrghh..
Game just lost all of my progress on one of the puzzles. Did it forget I only had 3 hints left? Of course not…

Fighting the game
The bad first:
- the cursor automatically change to the next location where you can input a letter and it seems random so you’ll be fighting that constantly and it’s annoying.
- achievements don’t always register. I am a completionist and the stats suggest I should have received every achievements.
The good:
It’s fun, it’s easy, it’s forgiving, overall another good game by Zack and team. I did their Sudoku and had the same good vs bad issues as this one. I’d play another one from them.

Fantastic game!
I love this game and play daily. It would be cool if the days best times were displayed so one could see where they stack up compared to other players.
Extremely confusing
No hints unless you use the hints and if you try to use the hints they don’t work most of the time. You’re just supposed to guess what letter fits where and it seems like letter sudoku? I don’t know. It doesn’t give you any information on how to play or walk you through a puzzle so you get the hang of it. It just tosses you in the mix and you have to guess everything from start to finish. Such a confusing game and one that I deleted from my iPad. Horrible concept and horrible execution.

Then this game is for you!
IMO this is the perfect word game.
1. If you like to maintain a streak you can try the 3 daily puzzles. If you’re sick one day or if you forget, you have a chance to play 7 days in a row to make it up. Oh, and on these dailies you have unlimited hints! If you don’t care about streaks you can just play whenever.
2. Then there are the monthly puzzle books, 30 regular puzzles and 30 tricky puzzles a month. Here you only get 6 hints but you can earn back hints you used by completing a puzzle perfectly. The first few are easy but they get harder as the month passes. If you hang in there as the month goes by you will find the themed puzzles which are even more fun.
Took me a while to get to love this app and learn how it works but now I try to play every day since I love word games to wake up my brain. : )

Good game
Good game. Only one issue I have noticed is that the completion streak does not sync between devices completely.
