We wanted to like it
Really. We did. The other big game, with a famous host, keep disconnecting. My wife and I searched for some time. This was one of many.
Our problem with this app was
1) about 80% of the correct answers were the same choice. It was “A” on our first playthru.
2) hire a voice actor. Even if you’re a smaller dev, maybe ask the questions yourself? Something to kill the hum drum monotony of the music.
3) Better variety of categories. Three of our were about Christmas. I know its January, but c’mon. That’s a little tedious.
We may play again. Will raise stars if the game is updated. Refuse to purchase anything until it’s better.

Why
Why must you use both the Apple TV remote and the know it all Remote app to control gameplay? Why not just use the app remote to control everything.

Would LOVE this if you could add voiceovers reading the questions... Maybe Trebek is available :-) Even just adding soft background music during game play would help.

One time play
Cute game but you better know your sci-Fi. There needs to be more questions and categories. Played once and half the room couldn't play because they didn't see Star Trek. Then we played again and it was all the same questions.
Works remarkably well
One thing to keep in mind with apps like these is they're largely dependent on the wifi network they're connected to. If your network isn't great, the app won't work well. But on good wifi, the app has worked perfectly for me. Hopefully they improve it over time to not require a good host network. Maybe an ad hoc network between devices or something?

Buggy unfinished but with huge potential
Looks good, Ui is nice and clean and the questions are diverse.. But none of this matters because the game is basically unplayable. There are huge delays between what controls appear on the phone and what is going on with the game. Once the bugs are gone this game will be great.

This game is the bees knees! Questions are appropriately challenging and the gameplay is balanced. You likely can't spam the buzzer and win, but you can sure piss off your friends 😂😂😂
Such a fun Apple TV game
This app is the remote for the Know It All Apple TV game. It serves as a "buzzer" to answer the questions as you play other people. It's honestly one of the smartest ways I've seen an iPhone app and an Apple TV app interact. I've been having a blast playing the game with my family.
