About
Selling a house, applying for residency, making an insurance claim, starting a job — every one of them is the same problem. Somebody wants a list of documents, you half remember what you already have, and something turns out to be three months out of date at the worst possible moment.
Kod Case is a checklist that knows what you have.
WHAT IS STILL MISSING
A case is defined by its requirements, not by files in a folder. Start from a template — property sale, residency application, insurance claim, new job — and see what is ready, what is missing, and what needs attention. Every requirement is yours to edit, reorder, remove or add to.
SCAN IT AND IT FILES ITSELF
Point the camera at a bill, a certificate or a contract. Kod Case reads the page to work out what it is and when it was issued, then files it for you. Passports and ID cards are read from their machine-readable zone, which carries check digits, so the details are taken rather than guessed.
IT TELLS YOU BEFORE THEY DO
A proof of address that had to be issued within ninety days is fine the day you file it and quietly stops being fine six weeks later. Kod Case keeps checking, and says so before you send it.
ONE LIBRARY, EVERY CASE
Documents live in one place and every case points at them. Scan a passport once and it satisfies an identity requirement in every case that asks for one — no copies, no duplicates, no wondering which version you sent.
IT SUGGESTS, AND EXPLAINS WHY
When a requirement needs something, Kod Case ranks what you already have and shows its reasoning: the kind matches, it belongs to the right person, it was issued three weeks ago. A document that is close but wrong is shown with the problem stated, not silently ranked lower.
ENCRYPTED ON YOUR DEVICE
Everything is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it goes anywhere. Your master password becomes a key through Argon2id. There is no Kod service, no account, and no company holding your documents.
YOUR DOCUMENTS REACH YOUR OTHER DEVICES
The documents you file are ordinary Kod records, so they travel through your own private CloudKit database, already encrypted — Apple stores bytes it has no key for. Cases themselves live on the device you made them on. Kod Case works entirely offline.
WORKS WITH KOD
Kod Case shares its vault with Kod, the password manager, and Kod Auth. Same master password, same Face ID, one encrypted store. It works on its own too.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No account. No analytics. No advertising. No servers to breach. Templates are a starting point and not legal advice — they may not be complete for your country or institution, which is why every one of them is editable.
