Midi doesn’t output correct length of song

Despite it playing the correct potential and notes in notes but in midi export, notes are distorted and length is warped

Confirm email broken

Can’t use the app. Confirmation email doesn’t have any clickable link or code to verify account. Not sure why an account is necessary at all.

Great idea not working

Downloaded and tested. Recorded a quick 20s guitar riff and the conversion to midi was way off. Really difficult to edit too. Going to save myself time and uninstall

Awesome Initial Version!

i use Melodyne for audio to midi on a computer, but needed something quick and ez for first takes.

tried this today with a simple piano song with chords. Worked great! Fed the midi file into Notion. Good score.

Im hoping future versions just keep getting more features!

Cannot confirm email

I am unable to sign in to the app. It sends me emails, but there is no 4 digit code in the email to confirm my email address.

Can’t even open it

Not sending me emails to confirm supposed registration. Haven’t even been able to get into the app to try it. I give up.

Needs one more thing

Actually, I’d like to write about a feature and a bug. The feature is that I’d like some sort of sound detection feature, so there’s no silence in the beginning of the midi file. Also, there’s a bug, if I save to files app, it would not export and crash the next time I try to export.

keeps crashing since new update

every time i’m done with a recording and i try to save it it crashes. it used to work. pls fix

Add import sound

It would be nice if I could import sounds but the midis are pretty good when they come out but I would really use a import sound thing

Thank you for your feedback. Importing audio is on our list, we are currently figuring out it's rules and structure. Till then you can record with your phone what you would like to import, thanks for your patience.

App won’t open

I downloaded the app to my iPhone and iPad. When it opens a screen displays “Downloading Packages” with a progress bar showing 0 / 0. It never downloads anything or progresses. There is nothing else showing on the screen. I even tried removing the app and re loading but no change.

Hello there, thank you for your review. Did you use mobile-data by any chance? Because in that case, you should have push the "continue without wifi" button at the bottom of the screen. This is a safety function, because the packages are quite big. If this is not the problem, please email us at info@kodai.app so we can get to the bottom of the issue. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Login issue was only on apple

App works pretty good for what it is. I think some people were having a login issue but I was able to login with google okay. The app did a pretty good job recording my voice to midi.

Kodai App (can not register)!!

On the info this app sounds perfect!!! However (I have try to register 3 to 4 times, and it keeps saying to check my e-mail for the codes - to confirm my e-mail, but there is no e-mail…).
When I try to make a completely new install, it recognizes my e-mail as a register owner (but I have NEVER received and e-mail) I FIND THAT VERY STRANGE!!!?!?
I sent them 2 e-mails and I am waiting to hear back from them. Until then I can really say that I have a positive experience or even if the APP works as it says… I hope so 🤞🏽

Can’t even get past the first screen on iPad

I cannot access the checkboxes for the TAC and PP...

Doesn’t appear to work

Tried it - got nowhere fast. Starting off, I don’t like the mic on constantly - should be able to turn it off when not recording. With the sound turned up as loud as I could comfortably tolerate, it never registered above -5.6db and complained it couldn’t hear me. If it can process audio at all, that issue could be worked around if it could process an audio file instead of relying on a mic. Highly disappointed.
