What's New in Kodeco

1.1.1

August 8, 2023

Fixes issues whereby some videos don't play, and some courses don't load. Apologies for the inconvenience.

User reviews

App does not inspire confidence.

I can play maybe the first two videos from the "your first swiftUI app" however nothing happens when clicking on successive videos.

It would have been nice to learn unit tests but apparently Kodeco doesn't even unit test their own app.

I got an email that for over $1000 I could take an iOS bootcamp with Kodeco - perhaps someone at Kodeco can attend this bootcamp and fix the app.

Nice Idea — Poor Execution…

I thought it would be nice to be able to take my video tutorials with me, but the errors and omissions in this version make that all but impossible. :-(

💥💥I’ve Entrusted & PAID Kodeco to teach me to develop apps. The extremely poor design and quality of their own app (this one) makes me second guess my choice.💥💥

🔥🔥I EXPECTED MORE from a company whose function is to teach others to develop apps. Are they hoping to teach me how to develop apps of such POOR QUALITY?🔥🔥

Some of the issues:
⦁ The syncing of “completed” videos between the app and the website is VERY broken.

⚬ I tried to go back and forth using the web when I’m at my desk and using this app on my iPad when I’m out and about.

⦁ When video downloaded process is RANDOM at best.

⚬ Videos should be downloaded in the order in which they are selected for down load.

⚬ When a whole course is selected, the videos in that course should be downloaded, in order, from first to last.
▸ They are not.
▸ I have some courses where the conclusion is downloaded long before the introduction.

⚬ There is NO INDICATOR on the main video Downloads Tab what the download status is.

⦁ There is no “Download on Wi-Fi Only” setting.

⦁ There is “Path” section in the app as there is on their website.

I could go on, but I think/hope I’ve made my point.

Regards,

A Paying Member of Kodeco

Funny that iOS tutorial app itself cannot make good app. Buggy app

Even after getting getting subscription, not able to view all video. It refuse to play video after 4th video 🤪. Feels like teacher himself forget the basic concept

Unstable and buggy

The app crashes a lot in the middle of a tutorial video. Downloaded tutorial videos don’t play.
Sometimes bookmarks aren’t stored and tutorial progress is lost.

Pretty disappointing from a company that’s supposed to teach “good” coding.

Downloading the curses not working

This apps is useful only if the download feature works, but I doesn’t.

More than 300Gb free, max pro iPhone 11, 100 Gbits speed and still is not able to save more tag 4 p 5 episodes of a complete tutorial. Even if you maintain the app in the foreground. Super bad for an app that teaches how to program, this app is embarrassing
