I can’t log on no matter what I do

I’ve tried to create an account with multiple emails multiple times, but it just says the same thing, ‘The same ID exists.’ Then I try to log in, and it says ‘No ID exists.’ I can’t even use it. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been recommended this app. Can I get some help?

Efficient System for Learning Korean

This app works wonderfully to help out people who are beginning to learn Korean! The teaching system is very engaging and helps you retain the information. Wonderful app!

Pretty Good

Overall I like the format of the app and the different textbooks offered. I especially liked how the app provides feedback to written work. The pronunciation assessment is a unique feature as well that I haven’t seen anywhere else. The app is also visually clean and simple to use.

I do however have several critiques:
1.) When using the feature to assess pronunciation of vocabulary, it would be great to have the translation of the word presented at the same time instead of going back and forth between pages to look up definitions.
2.) Although it’s neat, I’m not sure exactly what the lines labeled “me” and “native” represent when assessing pronunciation. I assume it’s intonation?
3.) It takes a while for the app to process my speech, making it a bit clunky to use. I am also not confident in its accuracy.
4.) It would be great if there was more practice with the Vocab words in the lessons, perhaps multiple choice questions or fill in the blank
5.) The structure is not the most friendly to new foreign learners. Explanation of grammar features are not given extensively aside from the examples. Also, there were a couple of typos and awkward phrases in the learner’s native language (mine being English).
6.) The word of the day is a neat feature but requires some foundation in Korean to read the explanation

Innovative ideas, just needs some polishing

The visuals are pleasing to look at and the app was generally straight forward to use! There was an impressive amount of guides for pronunciation improvement with the many voice recordings beginners can listen to. I felt that there was a lack of translations in some parts that could be discouraging to a new learner, but I noticed they only included words covered so far. Still, it might be helpful to have the translation of the conversation portion (maybe they can be earned?) so that it is less intimidating. I found that the numerous sections in each lesson targeted all the different ways you can practice a language very well. I also thought the Listening and Speaking section was cool and helpful to compare my own recording to the available voice recording, but the accuracy of the voice analysis needs polishing. It is not too consistent and often gives high scores for unclear speaking and the opposite for clearer speaking. Overall, I found this app creative, thorough, and user friendly!

Good app!!

English translations for the grammar sections could allow learners to understand the equivalent meaning of the sentences as to form a habit in knowing how to transform English sentences into
Korean, eventually making it feel natural.
The reading and writing section are a little confusing, clearer instructions that guide the learner on exactly what to do could help. (English instructions make the process more smooth even if it doesn't fully engage the learner in Korean.)
Im having some performance issues as well when listening to audio, but it could be because my phone is a couple years old now.

Other than that the app is great and beginner friendly!

Good but you have to pay

It is a great app, it is pretty and fun to use but you have to pay for getting full access to all the courses :c 😭

good app to dip into korean

i do have few suggestions as follows 1️⃣The users need to be prompted so that they know swipe to continue next step. When entering new module, a specification could be provided to explain the function of certain modules. 2️⃣The practice needs notation in English or other languages based on the system settings, otherwise it’s hard to understand what the practice mean and which dimension the practice is testing. 3️⃣A module recording the mistakes the user has made during practice could be added, similar practices concerning the same point could be suggested for review. 4️⃣The app could provide download options for offline browsing, when people are on air or under other off-line circumstances, they tend to do something they wouldn’t do when connected to the internet. So if the app provide off-line learning opportunities and be the only app accessible during a flight, it is more likely to benefit users’ Korean learning.

Not bad

The best part of the app is the feedback on the writing prompts at the end of each chapter. Otherwise, everything else is okay. The speaking practice that reviews your pronunciation is often inaccurate but I like that you are able to replay your recording to compare it to the original.

Great app to learn Korean

Been using the app for a while and can assuredly say that the interface of the app is built so aptly for Korean language learners. Also the contents of TOPiK is at par with the format of the exam and helps learners prepare well for the exam and score good

Usage and content

When I downloaded the app I thought it would be like just other korean learning apps but this one is different. One can learn a lot of new vocabs, grammer and sentences using this app. Plus KOKOA has a feature where you can listen to the sentence and repeat it which helps in correcting the korean pronunciation. Really loved it
