Needs work
I appreciate what they are trying to do, but hiring a professional app maker would do justice to this subject. This app had low res graphics and some features don't work. It deserves to be done better.
Good app
I really like this app; definitely fascinating. However, it could be better optimised for iPhone. For example, the time line is very hard to read. It would be fantastic if it supported retina display!
Kokoda
I am glad to have the History of Kokoda. Thank You,But I am having trouble with APP it freezers when rolling down the page. the It is only show in direction I can not turn it a round.
App only orients in one direction
First app I've downloaded that only allows me to read it in one direction - which happens to be one I don't use. It's the wrong landscape orientation!
Not bad.....
The information was good, but getting to it was a hassle, half of the buttons took about 4 or 5 touches to get where the section is. Sorry guys, but that is very annoying.
Kokoda app
I love all the 3D stuff with the maps and the tactical perspectives but what really got to me was the interviews with survivors - Aussie and Japanese - that made history come alive. It put a very human face to war and the conditions, and that regret, humanity, fear and bravery, and the impact of war lives on in both sides of the conflict. I wish I had had this at school.
