What's New in Kōlab

1.5.1

August 20, 2026

Here's what's new in 1.5.1: • [IMPROVED] Add a new Version to one of your existing shots more easily, from the home feed or from within a Mission. Here's what's new in 1.5.0: • [NEW] Shot Versions: your shot is no longer finished the moment you post it. Re-edit, re-crop or reshoot a shot you have already posted, add it as a new version, and say what changed. Swipe between versions on the photo to compare. • [NEW] A home feed built around you: Kōlab now opens on a feed weighted towards the genres and photographers you care about, which also makes room for good shots nobody has commented on yet. The other feeds are still one tap away. • [NEW] @mentions: tag another photographer in a caption, a comment or a Feedback Room message and they will hear about it. • [IMPROVED] Missions: the Missions screen has been redesigned, helping to make Kōlab more personalised and allowing you to discover where your next challenge lies. • [IMPROVED] Mission Suggestions: When you tap to share a shot, Kōlab suggests Missions that fit the shot you picked, making the upload process more seamless. • Bug fixes and improvements.

This app is a great way of trying new editing styles, and getting feedback on your photos and overall a very great app!

If you love aviation photography…

You should get this app. There is so much to be inspired by with photographers from all over the world shooting so many aviation subjects. The curated ‘missions’ are a great way to spark the imagination and reason to look through your library, usually in a slightly different light.

Great app with a lot of incredible photographers already participating with no algo hiding other’s work. Show up, share and be inspired!
