I just want the weather but it’s so touchy I go to other screens.
I will say the weather is more accurate but it’s intended for me to “fight” my way to get the weather.

Until the last year or so. I have my location set, but, radar is blank while I am outside and it’s raining. It has happened so many times. I have since deleted it and depend on the IOS weather app which is much more accurate and has a much more pertinent information.

What happened to the live broadcasts?
I used to be able to see the live weather reports but they no longer come up when the app opens and only are available if you click on the little box just above the hourly forecast which seldom appears at all. This was my “go to” weather app but now I will depend on others.
