Komuniti is a localised social media platform that facilitates discourse on locally relevant issues by verified local residents.  Incorporating residents voices in decision-making processes increases the responsiveness of community programs to people’s real needs. Using Komuniti will optimize and simplify the interactions with community leaders, whether its facilitating the reporting of complaints, applying for services/permits, dissemination of official documents and even real time information on services interruptions or emergency alerts.   In the process automating many of the mundane but nevertheless essential processes of civic life. Delivering services, providing real time civic outreach and facilitating social discourse will save time and save money whilst reducing the environmental impact of such processes.
