FAQ

What is König des Meeres about?

König des Meeres is a historically accurate simulation of the sailing age. It focuses on a dynamic trading system where player actions directly impact market prices. Players can explore numerous cities, trade unique regional goods, and compete against others in cross-server battles.

How does the trading system work?

The trading system is designed to be realistic, with prices heavily influenced by player behavior. Concentrated trading of a specific good can lower its price in a city, and powerful players can even manipulate price fluctuations. This makes every trade uncertain and exciting.

Is the game free to play?

The game is free to play, but it does offer in-app purchases. These purchases can enhance the player's experience, but the core gameplay and trading mechanics are accessible without spending money.

What kind of historical accuracy can I expect?

The game is developed with extensive reference to historical literature, aiming to recreate the spirit of the sailing age. This includes architectural styles, trade goods, and the inclusion of famous captains and explorers, all drawn from historical records.

Can I play with friends on different servers?

Yes, the game supports cross-server play. Players from all servers can compete on the same battlefield, even if they are in separate camps. This allows for a larger and more dynamic competitive environment.
