Good app
I think that this app presents the news KPBS is featuring well enough but the app should be redesigned to be slightly more aesthetically pleasing. The plain white background with black text is a bit droll, but I do like the font type that was used.

Great App
One of the better news and entertainment apps out there. Easy to navigate and use.
Trouble streaming on iPad.
Content is great, but I have not been able to connect to streaming again. Was able to watch 3 episodes of Grant hester, but cannot access it anymore. The 3 bars in the top left corner do not respond.

Good App
It’s great for when I want a quick review of local and national headlines, straightforward in true NPR fashion -and I like how North County gets its own section, too. I also love the arts and culture coverage.
Local, regional, and national news source
App easily provides local San Diego, regional California, and US national news. Really enjoy the coverage and much easier to access news than through the NPR app…
New version is terrible.
The new version of the office is terrible. There seems to be way less content. I don’t scroll around looking for things anymore. I can’t find my local stations to listen to anymore. Don’t understand the change.
Best most reliable news source in SD
In an era where many big city newsrooms are laying off journalists and millionaires dictate what gets reported and what doesn’t, I trust Kpbs to serve the interests of the community with integrity.

Must be able to fast forward and rewind podcasts
I use a different app for streaming. I do not use this app for podcasts because it cannot fast forward or rewind.
Love KPBS, Don’t love the IPad App
UPDATE: BOTH suggestions were implemented!!! Thank you - 🙏. What follows is my original review/suggestion: “Can you consider these updates: 1). When I’m listening to KPBS, the audio continues to play even when I choose to play audio from another app - there must be a way for you to offer me a setting in which I don’t have to go back and pause KPBS, but that it automatically pauses when another audio is played? 2). PLEASE fix the lack of landscape display - IPads are almost always in landscape (horizontal) mode when docked, and KPBS doesn’t detect the portrait or landscape motion and change. If it has to be “stuck” can’t you stick the Ipad app mode in landscape vs. portrait?”
