No longer connects
Used to have no problems whatsoever connecting my phone to the cam, now I cannot connect at all! After reading all the reviews (some from over 12 months ago) and it still hasn’t been rectified, it’s not filling me with confidence!!! My camera has now become useless since I can’t view the footage

Dashcam became useless after upgrading to newer version IOS.
Poor effort really
Firstly the app loses part of the wifi SSID each time it’s used so every time you login you need to re-enter it. Hardly convenient behaviour.
Then when you try to download more than 1 file it fails to do it.
Hopeless really and because it’s not the latest model it probably won’t get fixed. Just like I probably won’t repeat the mistake of buying this brand again for the reason just stated. They’ve got my money so what do they care.

Disappointed
I’ve had the car cam for a while now and loved but the app no longer connects to my iPhone or iPad. Please fix the app ASAP!

I can’t connect my dash cam now after updating the app. It keeps asking me to connect multiple times and it still doesn’t let me connect.

Avoid buying this product!!!!
After many failed attempts to connect the dash cam via provided software I have decided to leave this review! I don’t recommend this product at all it doesn’t connect to my dash cam!!! Completely useless and lack of support!!
WIFI PROBLEM FIX
I encountered the same issue after updating software, where i could not connect the device to my phone. I called the hotline and they gave me this solution that worked.
1. Go to settings and wifi.
2. Make sure that the KPTdevice is showing on ur wifi list and that it is ticked.
3. Write down the KPT820-????? Exactly like its displayed in ur wifi list in settings
4. As u return to ur app and it asks for login username make sure u type in the same device details as written earlier.
5. Then same password 12345678

Can’t connect to the dash cam since update
App does not work
My phone wifi connects to the device, the app does not recognise it whatsoever saying I need to connect to the wifi. Looks like the app has not been updated since it was built.
Very disappointing
App used to work fine and could connect to the cam so you could see live feed, change settings etc however, now its not connecting with the cam at all. So i paid a $199 and i got $29 cam that you can buy from ebay which Works fine but you cant access it via your phone.

Use to work fine it now it comes up in my phone wifi settings I connect to it and it connects but the app keeps telling me to connect to the dashcam and the green light never comes on was a 5star now 1

Since upgrading my app I can no longer connect my dash cam to my phone! So my dash cam is now useless! I emailed multiple times and got told to send the camera back! Nothing wrong with the camera! It’s your stupid app! Asks for a password after being connected to the car! Multiple attempts at trying to resolve this and nothing works! Needed it this morning when I was nearly in an accident after being cut off by someone and then watched the same person drive down a one way road in peak hour traffic!
