I do have a question: Does it send SysEx commands to external midi devices, like MT-32 and Sound Canvas?

No. KQ Sampei doesn't have any MIDI transfer functions.

Great MIDI and SoundFont player!
I had a little trouble finding the midi player when I first opened it so I was nervous it didn’t have one, but it was under the music note tab. I’m enjoying using it in AUM and I’m excited to try loading different types of SoundFont files into it.
