Used to be a good app
This app was fine for checking out our local news but they started allowing advertising inserted between every few articles. Now it’s become raunchy with titles such as “see this woman who wears see-thru shirts…” Really KRCR?! We’re looking for local news, not smut!
Fire Season
It is very important to have all the information we residents can get during the fire season. KRCR is a big part of letting us know the current status of these fires. Thank you
Our local Sinclair station
With an obvious attempt to be neutral during these divided times the local station does a good job. When the Sinclair national segments come on it’s very clear they’re trying to influence and not just inform.
I have an iPad
This app,does not support landscape view. Very frustrating as that is what my choice of viewing apps is. Seems like it would be an easy fix.
Frustrated with New Version!
Very frustrated. This app freezes when clicking on certain articles. I don’t like the inability to read or look at things in landscape mode.
I like the tabs at the top and the ability to look at many articles under each tab. However, I also liked the previous version of giving the Top News of the day. I don’t like the sports section being so limited and not updated. The sports stays the same for several days. Same with the “entertainment” section.

Weather
The only thing this app is good for is the weather! They barely cover Redding and when they do it contains very little about our community mainly Chico might as well just download the Chico news app. They are professional weather and fire news team.
App says not connected to internet
I AM connected to the internet!! I delete the KRCRTV app and reinstall and disconnect WIFI, then reconnect, then it works. After shutting down device, restarting, app says not connect to internet and it is connected. Very frustrating!!!
A fine app for updates
You’re most likely going to enjoy this app if you just want quick updates, if you need details that have depth then just stick to the news.
Antenna
If I have a indoor amplified tv antenna and I live in dunsmuir why can’t I get KRCR ? Also it ain’t live it is behind like 2 or 3 minutes form when it is on tv! And also I do t like your new music it kinda sounds ridiculous I only give you one star ⭐️! When are you going to fix this??
Sound
Absolutely no sound at all. All setting are correct. Uninstalled and reinstalled still no sound.
New Version Bad
The new update of this app is annoying! You can get push notifications but when you go to the app you can’t seem to find the article. At least with the older version it was there in limited form saying more info to come.
Headline new
Very difficult to get the news stories. There are headlines but not able to search for specifics. The ads are ridiculous

The new layout is user friendly, but there is no audio on all videos, and there are quite a few more adds.

I don’t like the look of this new version. I like to use in landscape mode but this one is only available in portrait and only with the home button on the bottom which interferes if you have it plugged into power. Let people choose which way they want to view it. I liked the tabs at the top for local, national, coast better then the new style. Just add new tabs for the new features. I have been wanting to be able to see more then just the last so many articles which limited what you would see unless you were on there several times a day before they would disappear. Guess I’ll have to find another way to get the local news. Keep what works but expand on it instead of major changes.

Local news PLEASE
Very little local (North State) news. Very seldom mention Weaverville, Burney, Fall River Mills or any of the other outlying areas for either newsworthy or sports activities. Need to update over the weekends.
