Avoid AR Game, but the info is good
We love Kryal Castle and everything it has to offer, except this app. Sadly the AR Game is a real letdown. If the phone goes to sleep or you open another app, the game pauses and the “Resume Game” button does not work. The only way to play is to start again from the very beginning. Very disappointing for the kids when we had almost finished all three quests to not be able to face the goblins and out of time to start again. At least it’s free. The 1 star is for the AR, otherwise the information is good, like a digital guide book. The map is decent, but missing a few locations, like the Jester’s Theatre and Wizard’s Tower.

Glitchy
Couldn’t use the app for the goblin event due to it constantly glitching. Each time it glitched I had to start again from the beginning. Frustrating and disappointing.
Disappointing
We spent the day without being able to use the app at all. For some reason even when using the guest wifi we were still unable to use the app. It was rather disappointing and had to continue asking people what and where things were and what was up next as far as the schedule went. Also no maps to help navigate.

Kryal Castle
Spectacular high resolution drone shots of the castle followed by a disappointing lack of functionality.
Could not check the Castle’s schedule of events for the next day to plan for our trip, and when we tried the AR treasure hunt on the day, simply got a message that our phone did not support AR. iPhone 6 running OS 12.5.5.
Best bring back the papers based treasure hunt for customers without the app Kryal Castle.
