So buggy and does not work
How the F am I getting CNN news. And not local news. BROKEN.
Waste of time
This is a terrible app, don’t waste your time downloading it. When you try to watch the news live. It gives you a prerecorded video instead a total waste of time.
Apple TV app needs improvement
The apple tv app is super clunky and frustrating to use.
Only a pre recorded program again today for noon news.
Same thing again!!! I only get a pre recorded programing for live tv news, Timing is still off several minutes. It is no longer a user friendly app. 🤨🤨

App stopped working
The app for Apple TV has stopped working completely as of January 2026. I have notified KSL but have yet to hear back concerning the issue.
Only a pre recorded program again today for noon news.
I only get a pre recorded program for live tv news, Timing has also been off several minutes since the new News at Noon show started & Studio 5 was canceled. 🤨🤨

Each release is better than the next
This app is constantly like 3 steps forward 2 steps back. The most current release has more or less killed app user’s ability to interact with comments. The current build has a terrible connection to the feed. Open the app wait minutes for the stories to load.
Finally you start refining the look of the comment section but fail to separate the like and the report buttons so people using one hand stretching to hit like can accidentally hit report half the time.
KSL stop making things worse and when you make changes make sure you change to make the app better not just change for change sake.

Lousy update
Unstable on my Apple TV, will not let it activate! I suspect it’s due to the insatiable need to track every single thing I do and since I have chosen to use private relay in my sign in. Will not use ever again.

Optimize for tablets please
I don’t understand why the KSL apps haven’t been optimized to rotate to a landscape view on tablets?
Ads, ads and ads.
This is the worst app experience I’ve ever encountered. It’s all commercials and I can’t locate the “ongoing coverage” promised by the TV station. Awful. I’m deleting it now. Didn’t even get to actual stream content.
Cast to my tv
How come I no longer see the cast symbol so I can cast it to my tv’s??? I’ve tried deleting the app and putting it back on and I still don’t get it. Please help!
Frustrating
KSL+ used to be a good app to watch the news, but now it stinks. Sports are not shown with the live feed. The 10:00pm broadcast is days old, making it irrelevant. The Sunday night sports broadcast is always cut short when it could be seen. Plus, no one wants to see the last five minutes of the NBC show before the news. Lastly, now there’s a cavalcade of ads we have to endure just to catch up on the news. In conclusion, every time there is a change on the steaming service, it’s a change for the worse.

Glitchy and hard to navigate and use.
Waste of time
I thought DEI was dead, not at KSL. The only thing that this station is good for is the weather.
So buggy and does not work
When I want to watch previous broadcast of a new cast it doesn’t work. It keep showing the commercials over and over again. This has been happening for over a month. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and the same thing keep happening. It’s to the point that I have permanently deleting it from my Apple TV and phone.

Not Streaming the whole program.
Only streams live programming for 30 minutes, then switches to fm 100.

Slow to load articles
This app is very, very slow to load articles that you select, to the point of being painful at times. Becoming bigger is not always better, the old app was superior in this regard.

Horrible
Needs a lot of work. Way to much “forced advertising”. Portrait mode and landscape mode are hard to work with. Help!
Update: I contacted KSL via email re: app won’t rotate. They replied..be patient. I finally after boo coo time, lost patients, and deleted the app! GOOD GRIEF! 3.5 ratings are proof!
