The radar shows a strong thunderstorm above my location and the sky is clear with no signs of rain or lightning.
Radar Colors
I love app but not sure if me or app but I prefer a gray background with green, yellow and red for rain. Any advice? Maybe it’s me or my phone but all I can see is yellow and darker yellow with this app but good on my other weather apps. Any advice/help?
Deleted App Today
Had this app for years and it worked fine. In the last few months, this radar is whacked!! Last night, it said the storms were moving South, I thought that was strange, so I checked weather bug and the storms were actually moving NE!
Last night I called my Aunt in Ft Worth to check on her, as this app said huge red storms right on top of her. NOPE… The storms were nowhere near her, even though this radar clearly said they were right on top of her.
Earlier in the spring (2024) I closed my business down early because this radar said storms were heading straight for Abilene. The storms went North and missed Abilene completely.
After last night, I’m done. I went and got weather bug and won’t be using this carp anymore because it’s giving out incorrect information.

I have a number of weather apps, and this one has become my go to first!
Great weather app
I’ve used it for years and love the doppler features. Even when I travel I use the same app. It’s a great app.
My go-to weather app
We’ve been using KTXS Weather app for at least 10 years. It is my go-to weather app wherever we find ourselves. I no longer live in Texas but can attest it works fabulously in Washington state and Montana where we live now. Thank you so much.

I have had this app for a few years and really relied on it. But since it updates I have had problems with it. The app will not download and it also will not show the tracking of storms. Please go back to the way it was
Search Crashes App Now

This app was once reliable, now it is completely useless.
Was good, now “Bugs Bunny”
Used to be a wonderful app that I’ve used for several years, but starting Jan 2020 it won’t open and I have to shut down my iPhone and restart it in order for the KTXS app to go have a bowel movement. This app “stinks” now because it refuses to open.
I deleted KTXS Weather app and in mid January 2020 went with AccuWeather. It runs great on my iPhone 11 Pro Max running the current IOS.

Not any more
This app used to be good but was recently changed and does not function as well now. Interactive map has delays. Overlays have issues. New symbols do not make as much sense. Just not as functional as the previous app. I now use a NOAA app.
Don’t like the new updated app.
I really used to like the app. But now the weather alert overlays blot our the precipitation. I have tried to find a way to lighten the watches and warnings, but it isn’t intuitively obvious. I am starting to use the Weather Station app instead. Wish you would put the other version back.

Slowest app ever
The app takes forever to load

So incredibly slow. When I click on the app I have plenty of time to go out to the mailbox and when I come back it might be loaded
New version is worse...
This new version is worse than the old one in that it has severely reduced the amount of screen space dedicated to the map.
