Why airplane mode?
I love the style and idea of this app but the fact you have to turn on airplane mode instead of it just going off your screen time is so impractical that I couldn’t use it

I love how cute this app is! But as many of the other reviews have stated, having to put on airplane mode is a bit too much.

i really like the design and function of the app! the only thing i would change is making it track screen time as well. going completely offline does offer some dangers such as potential emergency calls being missed and more. of course, that being said, this app will make its way into my personal life because of how adorable it is.

Cute app but future idea
It’s a very cute app I love the art and animation. Similar to other reviews here I think it shouldn’t simply be offline mode and should just be how much time you spend off other apps. I can’t fully turn my phone offline in case someone texts me there is an emergency or they need something, so I will not be keeping this app but I’d love to someday.

Cute but one problem
I really like how it is! The problem is not being able to listen to music. I would love to be able to exercise with him and be able to listen to my music.
cute and good idea but not great in practice
i thought this would be great but then i turned off my phone and stayed off it and it still said i had zero offline time. then it only tracked but only when wifi and cellular data was off. i understand why it did that but i think it would work best if it just tracked screen time instead of forcing u to turn off ur wifi and data. i need to have my wifi on so i can get texts yk. if it only tracked time on apps or on ur phone instead of being totally offline and unavailable that would be great. i love the art tho

Its Cute but it could be better
I love the animations and the hatching and the art its all super adorable and nostalgic but when i found tried this app and struggled with finding out what it meant by “offline” i realized i probably should just delete it. I tried airplane mode, turning off my wifi, and even my cellular signal and it would still flash red and say “go offline now!” it was pretty confusing for me im not going to lie

Game Changer
I have never ever seen an app like this. An app for the betterment of yourself, that helps bring yourself back to earth and focus on the more important things. Plus, it’s super cute. Incredibly innovative and the best UX I have ever seen.

really love this, so cute and very functional! definitely would be optimal if you didn’t need to turn airplane mode on, and instead functioned on screen time specifically, in case of emergency calls and stuff. also! a home screen widget would go a long way, as to consciously being aware of your little guy and his health, helping to stay off the phone :)

Cute but this feels less healthy than having your WiFi on
Genuinely odd how it dies whenever your WiFi’s on because there are GENUINE reasons for being on WiFi like wok and school like not everything is for the toxic cycle of social media and it feels more toxic than social media

i struggle with being online too much, doom scrolling especially. and i have a very strong connection and caring feelings towards things like this, so with this creatures life on the line, it helps me stay off more than usual :-) especially with the new improvement with the widget feature.

The app is a lovely idea, but my Kumo’s health never goes down! It says I’m offline when I’m online and my Kumo is suffering (red screen). Says I have 43 hours of offline time which I can confirm is not true.. not sure what I’m doing wrong. Because of this bug, I don’t have the accountability I would usually have with this app.

in a world full of apps that are littered with ads, this was a fresh breath of air. it’s simple, and reminds me to take a break from the internet.
Cute but lacking
Art is great and so is the concept. Looking forward to future updates.
I think it would be better if it tracks lack of screen time rather than going fully offline - like the other productivity apps in the market. Having the phone completely offline leaves me helpless from incoming emergency notices which I don’t want to be cut off from - work, parents, kids, etc. Just have the kumo cultivated if we are not using our phones altogether or when not using certain apps, etc.
It’s also a battery killer to have the app on for use. Best if I can just have my phone locked while the app has an active session when needed or maybe give us a low power setting.
More incentive beyond the kumo’s health would be nice too. Some sort of reward for offline time - maybe provide the kumo customization, etc would be awesome. Esp since the art is the selling point here.
A widget to better track its health would nice as well.

IMO, the rate Kumo suffers is too slow, and the rate Kumo heals is too fast. also i'm American, and i think past an HP loss threshold you should be charging only American accounts $10 dollars to recover Kumo, while offering them $1 recoveries for $1 a month. Kumo is adorable and i want Kumo to live, so you nailed that part of the matter :)

Simple but cute app¨̮
Saw this on twitter and decided to give it a go! The dev’s idea is nicely executed! I used to encounter bugs like having to verify my account again once I’ve got back online, but it’s fixed now. Tysm!🩵 I also wonder if there’ll be any ways in the future that we convert the time we spent offline for in-game currency, so we can get our friend some clothes/accessories¨̮

Doesn’t work
It says I’ve spent 0 minutes offline (not true) and he is almost dead. If there’s something I need to do to qualify as offline it doesn’t tell you.
