Kumo RAIN: Ambient Sounds

Kumo RAIN is a quiet instrument for thinking, sleeping, and being still. Most sound apps are loud — endless lists, blaring autoplay, one more thing demanding your attention. Kumo RAIN is the opposite. Open it, choose a sound, put the phone down. It’s built to be listened to, not looked at. Launching with two sound worlds: 雨 RAIN — let it fall. Steady, soft, or heavy. 水 WATER — follow the stream. More weather is on the way. — BUILD YOUR OWN QUIET — Layer sounds together and set each level by hand. Choose a texture for every layer. Save the feeling of a place you remember. No two evenings sound alike. — DRIFT OFF — A sleep timer fades gently to silence in 15 to 90 minutes. Fall asleep; the sound bows out on its own. Background and lock-screen playback keep it going while you rest. — A CURATED INDEX, NOT A NOISE DUMP — Every sound is chosen, named, and placed — Water, Earth, Air, Place. Quality over quantity, always. — ON EVERY DEVICE — Create a free account and your library, mixes, and sessions follow you everywhere. — DESIGNED TO DISAPPEAR — A calm, Japanese ink-wash aesthetic. Warm paper, deep ink, a single brush-stroke circle. Nothing blinks, nothing nags. Made for people who want calm to think, sleep, or simply be still — designers and readers, parents, and anyone awake at 2am. PRO — COMING SOON A future subscription will unlock every sound and weekly new drops, unlimited saved mixes, lossless offline listening, home-screen widgets, and a sleep journal. Today, Kumo RAIN is free. Turn it on. Let the room fill. Disappear for a while. — Sounds used under licence. Kumo RAIN (雲 kumo, “cloud” · 雨 “rain”).
