I use this app 1-2 hrs a day while cooking dinner to catch up on news or relax.

KUNR brings the world to me.
I had to retire in 2017, by way of disability, which was crushing and isolating.
For decades I listened to KUNR, and other public radio stations, to and from my teaching job. It got me ready for the day, brought the world to me, and filled my mind with what was going on, locally, in the nation, and around the world.
This app is bring the world back to me, and me out into the world.
I appreciate that it continues to play with other apps open and even with my screen closed.

Works great.
Glad this is an option to hear news and stories.
Worst App on my phone
This app will not stream when connected to my home WiFi network. It works on other WiFi networks.
To limit Cellular Data usage people use WiFi especially when they’re at home, which in my case is the majority of the time.
Therefore the app is 99% useless !
I’ve notified KUNR multiple times over the years, I even spoken to multiple employees in person, begging them to get their tech support to correct the problem . .

It Has All My Favorite NPR Shows At My Fingertips
This is a great app for NPR listeners. It has all the top shows, and it allows you to listen to previous broadcasts. Plus, it has the local news that you can use. I wish KNPR had an app like this.
